Summary
Zuko, by all accounts, is a good kid. He gets straight A’s, works hard in his Uncle’s tea shop, and makes sure to keep out of trouble. His father is Republic City’s President, and he makes sure to not give the media anything to make his family look bad. He’s a good kid, but that doesn’t make him any less unapproachable. Zuko has a permanent scowl on his face, and on the first day of senior year at Caldera Academy, he got into a huge fight with a few kids who did something he thought was inexcusable. Outside of that: good kid. . . Except for Friday nights. On Friday nights Zuko goes out with his best friend Toph with whom he runs a roller derby, an illegal roller derby, and it’s the best thing they’ve ever come up with. They wear costumes to assure that outsiders can’t identify them, they handpick what teams are and aren’t allowed to compete, and everyone who works there knows everyone else, so if someone rats the place out, the rat will go down just as hard as the rest of them.
It’s not personal, it’s just business.

Summary
The Avatar is believed to be dead. The war against the Fire Nation rages on, the rebellion led by an organization of assassins called Last Hope. Hated by some, respected by others, the agency is known for their child assassins, taken from their families and trained to kill.
Sokka is one of Last Hope's most powerful child assassins. Last Hope chooses him to kill the Prince of the Fire Nation. Along with his friend and fellow assassin Toph, Sokka goes undercover as the Prince's bodyguard. A seasoned killer and scarily numb, Sokka fully expects to kill the Prince and leave the Fire Nation by the end of the week.
Prince Zuko of the Fire Nation was almost banished by his father but is instead dishonored and looked down on. Zuko, along with his friends Mai and Ty Lee, dream of fighting against the Fire Nation. Exhausted, breaking, and inexplicably lonely, Zuko sometimes wonders if he'll be able to last until the end of the week.
Sokka and Zuko long for freedom, Sokka from his agency and Zuko from his family. Once they meet, it doesn't take long for their notions of freedom to include each other. The problem is, Sokka and Zuko both have secrets and neither one of them is ready to tell the truth.

Summary
Across the Fire Nation, there are whispers...
Obediently, he brings her bottom lip gently between his teeth, nibbling just enough before languidly darting his tongue between the eager part of her lips; stealing her breath for his own in a deep, heart-warming kiss.
“Anything else, Ambassador?” He asks playfully, finally untucking the pillow from underneath her and replacing it with his arms; rolling them, so that her familiar weight lays comfortably over him.
“No, Lord,” Katara’s laughter is quiet and raspy, a sure sign that she is drifting toward slumber. “I have all that I require, right here with you.”

Summary
“The Avatar’s resurfaced."
“That’s impossible.” Zuko frowned, “The Avatar is dead. Definitely, completely dead. No one has seen an Avatar in almost a hundred years.”
“Correction: no one had seen the Avatar in almost a hundred years until he appeared in some nothing village in the South Pole three months ago."
OR
When The Avatar resurfaces, Zuko is in Ba Sing Se taking care of his younger sister Kiyi. He doesn't plan on having anything to do with the Avatar or the War. Apparently, the Universe has other ideas. Then again, when has it ever cared what Zuko thought?

Summary
The war is over and things are beginning to settle down. There is still a lot that needs to be done after 100 years of war but progress is being made. Zuko is genuinely happy for the first time in a long time. This all changes when Ozai's supporters free him from prison, taking Zuko with them. After a few days of trying to find out where Zuko is, Ozai demands his bending returned in exchange for Zuko's life, promising he would torture Zuko every day he has to wait. Trying to avoid this, the Gaang sets off to look for Zuko before something irreversible is done to him. When he is retrieved through one method or another, he is so broken, Zuko is barely a man that can be recognized as their friend anymore. It will take every resource they can find to put him back together.
In which everyone needs therapy and Zuko has severe trauma. I am bad at writing summaries but the story is better I swear.

Summary
Centuries ago, the Royal bloodline of the Fire Nation was blessed by the great spirit Agni, allowing the family's descendants to harness the powers of dragons.
However, during Firelord Sozin's rule, everything changed. Dragons were hunted down for sport, and the Royal Family had to keep their abilities secret. Because of this secrecy, the ancient ritual that allowed these descendants to fully transform was buried and forgotten. Only the Fire Sages and most dedicated servants of the Royal Palace knew of the family's dragon-like abilities and characteristics, but none remembered why Sozin, of all Firelords, had ordered that the dragons be killed because it had put the Royal Family in danger as well. Maybe he was insane? Or something else had happened to him?
Struggling to control what little power he has, an emotional Banished Prince travels the world, desperate to find the Avatar and return home.
And yet, Zuko will find that his journey will not be an easy one as he, with the help of his Uncle Iroh, hides his abilities from his own crew and the rest of the world.
Agni's blessing had become a curse.

Summary
Things have been eating at her for a while, but on the eve of her wedding to Aang, Katara has a realization about her life and where she needs to be. With the right nudges, by the right people, Katara sets off to find her own purpose, which, of course sets her into trouble's way. But she's not alone, and she begins to wonder if half the fun is who you get into trouble with.

"Then what am I supposed to do?"
"That I can't answer. You have to figure out what you're willing to give up."
"Give up?"
He nodded decisively.
"Give up. If there's anything I learned from my time with Mai, it's that to be in a relationship, you will have to give something up. Or you will have to give them up."
He turned back to her, and she met his eyes steadily, even if scared.
"So, Katara. What are you willing to give up?"
