    Summary

It is twenty-five years until the end of the world. Aziraphale sells a book and invites Crowley to a wedding.

It is three hours until the end of the world. In a bar somewhere in London, Crowley falls into a black, bottomless hole.

It is ten seconds to the end of the world. Aziraphale says something too horrible to repeat. Crowley trembles against the wet tarmac, stuck there by a gravity not of this world.

It is some time after the not-end of the world. Aziraphale holds him tightly by the hand. Everything is going so terribly, terribly fast.

(Listen: Anthony Crowley has come unstuck in time.)

    Summary

Crowley switches places with Lady Godiva before her wedding to the Earl of Mercia, only to find out that the Earl is a familiar angel. Tensions rise, ending with the famous naked ride through the town of Coventry.

This work was inspired by the lyrics in Queen's "Don't Stop Me Now."

    Summary

Aziraphale pours for them in Mesopotamia, in Greece, in France. Crowley raises his glass in inns, in restaurants, in the Soho bookshop.

"What shall we toast?" he asks, and it echoes down the ages, a smooth, sliding spiral that comes around and around, but never quite in the same place.

    Aziraphale smiles fondly. "To us."

Crowley only hesitates a moment, because it's been hard to wait, but Aziraphale all but promised him this moment was coming the night he handed over the holy water. There are spirals here, too.

    Summary

When in Victorian England, Aziraphale reduces thousands of years of friendship to mere “fraternizing with the Enemy,” one very hurt demon is ready to forget the whole friendship. Aziraphale is never going to truly understand Crowley not just another evil denizen of Hell. Hopefully things are not beyond repair, because not only is Crowley in love with the angel and seriously pining after him, he believes Aziraphale needs to figure out that Heaven is not the Paradise he thinks it is.

A continuation of the Victorian London vignette in the "Hard Times" cold open. Mature tag is for Chapters One and Two.

It's winter, in Scandinavia. There's a blizzard outside. It's dark. No one would be dumb enough to walk around. So why is Aziraphale wandering outside like's is a sunny spring day? Crowley doesn't like the answer and is willing to come to an agreement if it means keeping his angel safe.

    Summary

"You win," said Aziraphale miserably. "I'll go to Scotland."

Crowley snapped, and the manacles around Aziraphale's feet broke open. "Shake on it?"

"Oh, I suppose." Aziraphale shuffled across the cell and took Crowley's hand through the bars. "This is a one time thing, alright?" he said, looking Crowley straight in the eye. "Due to, ah, unique circumstances."

Crowley grinned. A snake's tongue flickered in and out of his mouth. "Course," he said. "Wouldn't dream of asking again."

    (Spoilers: He asks again)

"You're my favourite, Nanny," Warlock mumbles, "you're not scared of me."

Of course, all of humanity should tremble before Warlock... but, Crowley thinks, not yet. At eight years old, he's yet to show any sign of demonic powers, which means the plan is working. And yet, according to Warlock, Heaven's nearest earthly representative isn't happy about his side winning...

    Summary

There are times when Crowley realizes that he's quite different, that he's 'too inquisitive' and 'too doubtful'. Those were the reasons why he had Fallen, anyway. It's just that he expects that Aziraphale, his friend- clever and kind- would have answers as to why everything is going to happen as it is.

(Set one year just before the delivery of the Antichrist, and Crowley learns of the due date. He lashes out to Aziraphale, forgetting that they have certain grounds in their Agreement. )

    An excerpt:

“Heaven and Hell would fight and they wouldn’t care—Earth would be their battlefield and they won’t give a damn. They wouldn’t care about music, or art, or the trees, the skies, the mountains,” he growled the last words. “Food and books. They wouldn’t care about your bloody-fucking-bookshop--!”

    “That’s enough, Crowley!”

He stopped and looked at the angel, who looked distraught; he was red in the face as well.

“You’re going—going too far,” Aziraphale stuttered, and his voice trembled. He had fear plaintively written on his face. “You’re going too far.”

    Summary

It has been nearly six months since Aziraphale had moved to the suburbs just south of London, a quaint residence in a peaceful village, nestled next to a neighbor spat out of the depths of Hell.

Loud parties. All manner of unpleasant scents, the more pungent of which Aziraphale is certain are illegal. A snake that is perhaps more accurately described somewhere along the lines of “basilisk”, which has found itself -- more than once! -- on Aziraphale’s side of the fence. Garish decorations, boarded up windows, strange guests at all points of night and day, and a neighbor nearly as charming as he is maddening.

A confrontation gone wrong kickstarts a months long cycle of retribution between Aziraphale and his mysterious neighbor Crowley. What unfolds is a series of elaborate pranks and escalating annoyances that shatter Aziraphale's previously monotonous existence. Everything is going fine -- until an unwanted houseguest throws a wrench in the system, prompting Aziraphale to strike up an unexpected alliance...

The slow smirk that Crowley had given Aziraphale was entirely too knowing and seemed to imply something that the angel didn’t understand. The sight of it had made his stomach feel very strange and fluttery.... He blamed his embarrassment for the weird fluttering sensation. And the oysters. Definitely the oysters.
