Summary
Zuko’s undercover life in the Earth Kingdom has come to an end, and he’d agreed to a deal proposed by the enemy’s colonel – he would be placed in custody under some ‘reasonable’ general. He was petrified, but there was no safe place for a traitor. The colonel was right that if anyone else found him, he would live through The North all over again.
Meanwhile, The Gaang is in the same town, freshly after losing Appa. Prince Zuko was the last person they wanted to meet – again. They have an important mission in Ba Sing Se and a bison to find. They don’t have time for angry Jerks.
But what if the jerk has a talent and experience in tracking ancient creatures?
Or —> Zuko joins (but not quite) the gaang on their way to Ba Sing Se

Summary
He should have known something was going to happen. Really it should have been obvious. He just didn’t think the rest of the gang would have noticed a change in behavior. He didn’t think they cared enough to realize. He wouldn’t have, he chased them across the world for months and hurt them. Why would they care?

Summary
Finding himself separated from his uncle after an attempt on his life, a newly banished Zuko washes up on the shores of Kyoshi Island.
In his efforts to reunite with the last living family member to ever show him kindness, he crosses paths with a badass Kyoshi Warrior, a certain blind earthbending genius, and is dragged into way more than he ever bargained for.
This fic contains descriptions and references to depression and other mental illnesses, please check notes for content warnings and read at your own discretion.
[This is the rewrite of the original story. Expect slow and inconsistent updates]

Summary
In which Zuko has sworn off love, Sokka isn't as dead as most people think, and Suki, Toph, and Jet only marginally signed up to crash a wedding.
Or, a Zukka Princess Bride AU featuring Zuko as Buttercup, Sokka as Westley, and a supporting cast with at least two more brain cells than our protagonists (which isn't saying much)

Summary
Jee's life. Zuko's rule. Sokka's chiefdom. This is a story of seemingly opposing forces--life and death, love and war, old and new--that all exist on a continuum of dance and song.
_____There is an old fisherman’s port that sits on the furthermost island away from the Fire National capital. For decades it bears no name. Sailors and merchants coming and going call it all manner of things: ‘The Quiet Wharf’, ‘Old Maid’s Harbor’, ‘The Port of Wood Rot’.
It’s the last that sticks the longest and so it stays. Wood rot. Woodrot. Woodrott. The wooden piles that hold its pier together had long ago turned gray, their splitting grooves riddled with the warts of barnacles. The village of tin shanties bears the soul of an old man. Sensible, for old men born here tend to die here, wind-dried or pickled, and so it is fitting that the air smells of salt and vinegar and neglected things.
To Jee it smells like home.

Summary
After his duel, Zuko had fled to the Earth Kingdom where he has been living for the past 3 years, living as a farmer and a healer after being adopted by a nice Earth Kingdom family, presumed dead by the Fire Nation when disappearing while injured, giving Iroh a chance to keep Azula from staying loyal to her father. Given a chance to heal & find people who genuinely care about him with no ties or loyalty to his father, he is able to be saved from growing bitter and jaded after years of failing at a mission. Using his alias as The Blue Spirit as a healer who has learned to use firebending to heal as opposed to as a thief and assassin, he is able to influence views on firebending from both the Earth Kingdom and Water Tribes as wells as firebenders themselves. He comes across the Gaang in the harbor town he has been living in, connecting with them as a healer who still remembers how to fight from what his life used to be, joining their cause before they even reach the Northern Water Tribe.
This is a series, I have posted a summary at the end of the 1st part if you don't want to read Zuko's recovery arc. I would suggest reading it, but it isn't plot heavy and I'm not here to tell you how to live your life.

Summary
It's been just over a year since the Kyoshi Warriors left the Fire Nation to help Team Avatar keep the balance (and the peace) in the rapidly growing and conflict-prone Cranefish Town (new name still TBD - Sokka's working on it). Suki misses her life and friends at the Palace, and maybe even Zuko in particular. Maybe more than she's ready to admit to even herself, never mind anyone else...
That is until something happens that gives her no choice but to face those feelings head-on.
Includes: Fire Lord abductions, airship battles, dragons, arranged marriages, mercenaries, plots, poison, spirits and politics.

Summary
Azula found her true destiny. Hiding away, she weaves intrigues and sows havoc, all in the glorious mission of molding Zuko into a sovereign the Fire Nation needs. A rumor about a mysterious resistance movement brings her back to the Capital. Zuko, unaware of Azula's return and torn apart by loneliness, accidentally reveals to her his secret; Azula gets yet another opportunity to teach him a lesson. Her plan seems foolproof. Little does she know how much it will change the lives of a lonely Fire Lord, a fallen from grace war hero, and a tricky princess...

The story is set five years after the end of ATLA and is more or less compliant with The Promise and The Search comics: Azula escaped after finding Ursa and the United Republic of Nations exists.
