Summary
Billy remembers a too wide ocean and a red smile. There's driftwood piled to the left of him, a fashioned lump of bark that promises use no one will ever get out of it. The sun is as hot and present as it ever was, almost too bright but then the sea would rise instead of lengthen, spread through the sun and douse it in water. He understands that the sun and the sea mix, that you cannot have one without the other and in his most private moments he will forget about weakness and fire that burns. He will think of the way a sun looks when its misty with salt, there, bright and present but dappled by its counterpart. Once, the tabletop in front of him was sticky with whiskey and unsaid words. 'What a pair we make', he thinks and then hears, softly in his mother's voice, 'I promised you that the sun would rise again'. He looks up at Steve.
Or
A rewrite of season 4 where Billy finds out about the Upside Down but not through his own supernatural possession, tries to deal with the mess that is Steve Harrington, his asshole kids (along with Billy's own sister) crazy Russians and little girls with superpowers, only to kind of, maybe, realize what life is worth while he's at it.

Summary
But that all changed, too fast and too suddenly, like the moment in between awake and sleep, where you don’t really remember how one thing lead to another. Can’t recall the moment, can’t recognise the difference between awake and sleep, but then suddenly it’s the next morning, and everything from the night before, from the time between then and now, is all just a memory, a blur in your mind in which you can never truly remember. That’s what it felt like to lose Billy.
or
A year after Billy assumingly dies, Steve, whilst struggling to cope with his loss, starts to realise that Billy might not be completely gone.

Summary
Billy sees him, and then his eyes go wide, and it’s all pretty comical in a sense because of him resembling a chipmunk, but Steve doesn’t really get to dwell on it because Billy’s pulling Steve to him, wrapping his arms around Steve’s middle. He slots his head in the crook of Steve’s neck (as well as he can) and whispers a “thank you for staying, pretty boy” into his skin.
Or the one where Billy gets his wisdom teeth out.

Summary
“I can’t stay sitting in here anymore,” Max grumbles from the front seat of Billy’s Camaro. She’s nine months pregnant and was due two days ago, but the baby still hasn’t come. Now, sitting in the broken down two-door and freezing their asses off on Christmas Eve of 1994, Steve can tell that she’s really lost her cool. “Let’s just go into that barn, okay? Look - there’s a light on and everything. It can’t be any worse than a car without working heat.”
“Without working anything,” Will grumbles from next to Steve in the backseat.
Max grins to herself and reaches up to the back of the passenger seat and hums pleasantly when Will’s hand curls on top of hers.
“Someone will come soon,” Billy insists, wringing his hands on the steering wheel. “I mean, someone has to, right?”
“No one’s been by in an hour, Billy!” Max snaps, and she shoves the door open and struggles out, swinging one leg before getting stuck. She shoots a withering glare over her shoulder at her brother. “Help me the fuck out of this steel box.”

Summary
Life is good. Better. Fine. Steve is living with Robin, and she's going to leave for college in a year, but it's okay. He'll have the kids. And then he'll have...what will he have?
He'll have Billy. He'll have California. And he'll still have Robin. He always will.
Billy becomes Max's legal guardian and redeems himself. Steve finds that very attractive.
In an alternate universe where the fantastical elements of the Upside-Down never happened and it was just a mind control study that ruthlessly kidnapped and experimented on people.

Summary
Steve realizes, although not for the first time, just how freaking unsettling Billy is. A charming kind of unsettling, kinda like juvenile delinquents and teenage rebels from chick flicks are supposed to be charming. There’s an aura to him, something intriguing. Something distrustful.
He’s an asshole, sure, but it’s hard not to want to follow him, just to see what his whole deal is.
He’s also pretty hot.

Summary
'She started spending extra hours at the library with Nancy and sometimes even Byers, when he wasn’t working. She started sleeping with her bat by her bed, the nails hidden by the skirt of her night table, and when a storm got bad and the lights began to flicker, she yanked the cleaver from the butcher’s block in the kitchen and slept with it under her pillow.
She slept restlessly, but she slept.'Stevie Harrington is on a self-improvement kick.
Figures, the evil forces from another dimension just have to come back and fuck it all up for her.
That, and Billy Hargrove. -

Summary
Billy doesn't remember when he started to see in colour, not fully; knows it started with the warm brown of Steve's eyes at Tina's Halloween party. Doesn't remember when the black, grey and white of his vision gave way to full colour but knows it started with Steve. Everything good about moving to Indiana started with Steve, even mixed with the bad; the fight at the Byers where he permanently scared the other boy, the tunnels and monsters with flower faces but the aftermath of all of that is what gave him the life he had now. A careful balance game of keeping their relationship hidden but a nearly domestic life with his Bambi, they made a sanctuary out of an empty house, soothed their hurts with something Billy couldn't ever name till now.
He never thought he'd be able to say the words, but locked away by a Blizzard, protected in their Den they fall off his lips like kisses.

“Fuckin’ hell Stevie, did you just cum callin’ my name like that?” The blonde licked his lips as the room filled with the smell of Steve’s spunk, even the fancy soaps couldn't cover such a potent smell.
“Shut. Up.”
“Really know how to make a guy feel special, what were ya thinkin’ about me doin’ ta ya?” Billy smirked as he wiped his hands off on Steve’s towel. Putting himself back into his short, well Steve’s shorts rather.
“Just go away!”
“Not a chance pretty boy.”[ The rest of this AU will be in chapters instead of parts! Please read the other parts first and then continue with chapters on here. Thanks!]

Summary
Steve is no stranger to fighting. He has fought his entire life, especially on the past years. However, that doesn't mean he is any good at it, especially when the battle is against his own mind.
Robin was born a genius. There is no point in denying it, she had always been terrifically smart. She was one of the best when it came to math, history, physics, english, languages, music. It was never the same for emotional intelligence.
Robin has absolutely no idea why Steve Harrington became her best friend, but he really is the only one worth the title. Steve doesn't think anyone else could carry the struggle that is being his best friend, but Robin does an amazing job at it. After the summer of 1985, they share everything, or at least she thinks they do, and tonight might show her that it really doesn't roll that way.

Summary
The ghost of Billy Hargrove leaned in the open window of Steve’s car with that trademark smirk and, honestly, Steve was kind of impressed by how detailed his own hallucination could be.
“Wanna fuc-What the shit? HARRINGTON?”
They blinked at one another for about ten seconds before Steve’s brain finally managed to fire off a thought.
“You’re real?”
Steve couldn’t stop the words from spilling out of his mouth, his own stupidity a constant echo in his empty head. Billy’s face reflected his thoughts as he yanked on the door handle until Steve reached over to hit the lock with shock-numb fingers.
“Real fucking freezing. Let me in, pencil dick.”Or: The Pretty Woman AU literally nobody asked for.

Summary
“Well…. Umm….” she tries but fails again
“See the thing is … someone else has wanted to visit you since you got here, but I’m…I’m not sure if you want…”
She looks at her hands, that are knit together tightly in her lap.
Billy moves his heavy hand slowly and covers hers. He’s curious who else wants to visit him, wants to know who cares except for Max, needs to know who it is.He squeezes her hands once and weakly asks the silent question hanging in the air between them. Max sighs and rolls her eyes nervously.
“Umm…it’s…it’s Steve.”
Billy’s eyes pop out of his head in surprise. He suddenly feels breathless, betrayed by his heart monitor, the beeps get more frequent and his cheeks burn from embarrassment.
