Summary
Adora, anxious to get a fresh start after the death of her parents and twin brother in a car accident, moves to the small town of Bright Moon. She’s far from happy about it and just wants to forget about her ongoing complications from the accident, graduate, and get out again.
Catra is just as desperate to get out of Bright Moon herself. Stuck in a house with an emotionally abusive mother and keeping a lot of secrets, Catra knows that the only way she’ll ever feel okay is if she gets the hell out. After a string of awkward encounters, both are perfectly fine with keeping a mutual avoidance policy in place.
But then the first body is found, and Catra and Adora are thrown together in grizzly circumstances where one thing is certain.
Nothing will ever be the same again.

Being Derek Hale isn’t easy.
The man had three main tasks in his life, three essential things that must be done otherwise the werewolf couldn’t keep the harmony he has achieved in his life:
Administrate the Hale Family’s old Beacon Summer Camp.
Get laid several times a day, in several different ways.

Summary
He shrugs, a big movement that involves his shoulders and waggling his head and his arms waving up and down. It’s so incredibly, perfectly, horrifyingly Gorgug that something inside Fig snaps.
Her legs give out from under her and suddenly Fig is kneeling on the floor. She feels distant, far away and detached from her body. Like she’s reading all the information from the neurons firing in her brain off of a tidy, organized list instead of feeling it. Her body is shaking, trembling. There’s something wet on her face, and at first Fig thinks it's blood- everything else is blood, so why not this too?- but no. Tears. She’s crying. Maybe she’s also laughing. Her ankle hurts where she twisted it running through the woods, and now it's jammed up awkwardly under her butt where she fell to her knees. Her throat hurts. She was screaming earlier, a lot, and maybe she’s screaming now, too? Nobody can hear. Just Gorgug. It’s just her and Gorgug. Everyone else is dead and there’s no one around for miles.
He told them that so many times- there’s no one around for miles, kids, did you know that?
There's no one to hear you scream.Series

Summary
Kristen’s funeral was first.
Fig hadn’t gone to Kristen’s viewing- she wasn’t going to go to any of the viewings. She’d seen enough of her friends’ dead bodies for a lifetime, she didn’t need to see their corpses prettied up and laying in a box. Not when she could close her eyes and see them how they were the night they died. She couldn’t stop seeing their bodies, technicolor in her mind’s eye. Blood and bone and empty stares and terror painted unmoving across their faces. The blood was still acrid in her nose, even after standing in the shower for hours. She could still hear the thump and groan of Kristen hitting the forest floor- how Fig’s world spun to a standstill, heartbeat rushing deafeningly in her ears, until Fabian took her by the wrist and made her keep running. She could still feel the dirt and blood caked under her nails, no matter how many times she scrubbed them, holding her fingers under the hot water tap until they stung. Her friends’ bodies- their bloody ghosts- were her constant companions, in her head, at her back, under her shaking hands. Fig was pretty sure that if she had to see any of them laid out in front of her, real and physical and cold, she’d throw up all over the coffin.

Summary
“I’m okay. You okay?”
He huffed, a shallow approximation of a laugh. Okay was a lost concept, if he was honest. It felt like Gorgug’s life was made up of different shades of bad. (Bad was a wine dark sea, lapping at the shore and promising to drown him in its unsuspecting depths. Bad was the overcast night sky, so far away from the city that there wasn’t any light pollution for the clouds to reflect. Bad was the heavy bags beneath Fig’s eyes, bruised purple. Okay was the distant, watery moon; too faint and far away for Gorgug to find and turn his face towards.)
“Yeah,” he said. Half-lie, half-truth. It wasn’t a bad night, thus far, but he was miles from okay. Fig knew that when she asked.
“Okay. I’ll see you?”
“Soon.”
