There’s a hint of insecurity beneath the attempt at menace when Derek asks him, “Are you afraid?”

The same day the Hale fire was meant to happen yet didn't, Fate had to continue as a tragedy was meant to struck someone that day, so it picked another family: Father, Son, and Mother.
The son was taken by a dark entity, and killed the father, the mother released the son through a powerful spell, not managing to completely erase the dark entity's presence inside her son, but successfully kicked it out and sealed it away, however, she died in the process.
The kid was left alone with his hands covered in blood, he couldn't be there, he took the books his mother gave him about his magic, about his spark, and left.
Years later, he returns when fate calls his name: Void...
