Jo is different. She always has been.
    But it isn't all bad.
The people who matter know her. That's all that really counts.

A place for all my Autistic Jo centered stuff
I generally headcanon her to be autistic all the time so some of my other stuff probably applies but I might write more specifically about this headcanon here

"He played through their childhood, their reunion and departure. The rise of being allowed to love her. The rush of their wedding night and the pounding of his heart. The peace that came with each gaze they shared from across a room. The feeling of her hand in his own. Her hair underneath his hands and her eyes as they stared into his. Laurie's heart was placed carefully at her feet once more."

    Summary

Amy Curtis March. Laurie had to admit, he hadn’t given much thought to the youngest March sibling in many years. While he’d vaguely known she was still in Paris, he’d last laid eyes on the youngest March almost half a decade ago (and oh, how much she’d grown).

Or: Laurie moves to Paris, is reluctantly cajoled into a blind date, and it, surprisingly enough, changes his life.

Some drabbles I guess you could call them about Friedrich's visits during those two weeks. Not necessarily in order or even all fitting together.

    Summary

The longest con Amy ever orchestrated was one she had honestly never foreseen, when at the age of 20, she moved all the way to Europe for three years of art school.

Amy had envisioned a number of ways in with her European experience might play out, but not once had she accounted for the unexpected addition that threw all her expectations out the window - one Theodore ‘Laurie’ Laurence.

Here are scenes I planned on putting into Sunshine & Shadow but obviously decided against in order to keep it short and sweet and on track but I still wanted to share them so here they are!

If you would like me to add a certain scene where you wonder what happened during a certain point in time in the story, let me know and I will try my best to include it. :)

As the distance between their bodies increased it caused a deep cold, much like that of an icicle of raw terror to slide down Jo's spine. She wouldn't be exaggerating to compare it to a cosmic shift- a crack in her foundation. Suddenly, everything felt exceedingly wrong. This feeling startled her into action.

    Summary

At this point, Laurie was more like a ghost than an old friend.

And like any ghost--good or bad--he popped up again, somewhere Jo least expected him.

After spending months in England, Jo was finally in Paris with Flo, her aunts, and her uncle. They had spent the day wandering the parks of Paris and enjoying the weather when Jo spotted a very familiar head of curls.

    Laurie was in France.

A March Wedding – (Little Women featuring “A nutty tale of Swan Beauty”)

It's time for Meg to marry her beloved John - her sisters question their lives on the day before the event - Amy/ successful fashion designing businesswoman reaching the stars, Jo/ ambitious writer, Beth/shy musician. Love is in the air, when the sisters gather for a trip down the aisle. A romantic must-read and modern take on the famous classic Little Women! This is a modern Part II, starting like Greta Gerwig's movie with rather grown-up Little Women, sharing memories from the past to Little Women Part I, but it's heading to Meg's (and perhaps someone else's) wedding, featuring many orginal side characters!
    - On the one hand it’s a modern retelling of Little Women.
    - On the other hand you may savour chapter by chapter an untold modern ballet remix story with the most famous ballet characters. Check out the soundtrack for each chapter.
    - Read Little Women chapter by chapter and start again, or just read two stories at the same time!
    - Can you find all Little Women references?
(I'm crazy of Little Women and ballet stories for my whole life, and this crazyness is the result!)

    Summary

“I found something in my room; a certain key to a certain mailbox. It feels like it has been years since we used it, but I felt the urge to open it for some reason. I never considered myself to be sentimental. But there I was, Jo, staring at an open mailbox with a letter that had my name on it.”

Laurie paused, and Jo inhaled too sharply, too loud.

He continued, “I read it, Jo. I read it over and over, and at first, I thought it was a joke. I thought you were mocking me.”

“I would never.” It was barely a whisper, and Jo was sure Laurie didn’t hear it.

“I didn’t know what to do.”

Or, Jo and Laurie get married.
