Mike has since realized his feelings for Will extend beyond friendly. An evening in April 1994 they meet up and one thing leads to the other and Mike confesses his feelings. Later that night Will goes missing again. It flips everything over and just like the first time, his friends and family are doing everything they can to find him again. The search afflicts them with nostalgia and memories which they thought they had lost. It's sparks all sorts of emotions, but perhaps more than anything it's confusing - because how can Will disappear into thin air when the gate closed long ago?

“I recognize him,” Adam said. His eyes slid to Shiro’s arm, widened imperceptibly. Shiro flinched. “It’s been a long time, Shiro. I see a lot has changed.”Essentially, Pidge discovered that Adam wasn't killed in the initial attack. He escaped death and apparently he's been leading a rebellion in Japan? Shiro leaves to find him and a new journey unfolds.
