    “You will freeze if you stay here.” The elder wrinkled his nose as the snow grazed it.

    “I do not mind.” Lan Wangji was used to sitting alone outside, he did not care about what Wei Wuxian thought of him.

    The elder made a small noise as he shuffled around in the snow. Lan Wangji had expected him to leave since he was not used to the cold weather of the human realm but was surprised when he saw something moving in the snow. The creature was almost invisible as it moved towards his lap. The rabbit’s nose twitched as it considered something, before hopping straight into Lan Wangji’s lap. The child had never had any pets before, so he didn’t know what to do, but he knew that the warmth it provided was much welcome. Tentatively raising his hand, Lan Wangji stroked the rabbit’s back gently, all the way down to its fluffy tail. The fur was so soft and gentle that he almost forgot about the cold. It was also the first time that he saw Wei Wuxian’s rabbit form.
