Huh? Why does that sound like Tommy? I wasn't on a call with him though... wait, what was I even doing?
He groaned and squeezed his eyes, the ringing noise in his ears becoming increasingly loud. He rubbed his temple futilely. The worried voice began to shout frantically, so he opened his eyes but began blinking at the blinding sunlight.
He was lying down on grass, with a tree overhead. A person peered over him and he stared at the figure in front of him speechless. It was a boy-a familiar blonde-haired, blue-eyed teenager that should've been halfway across the globe from Eret.

Or, to sum it up, the world is ending and a bomb goes off and spreads a dangerous gas that dsmp characters in the au have to learn to deal with :)

Techno wasn’t new to the whole ‘things will get worse before they get better’ concept. But moving to the middle of nowhere was something he didn’t expect out of that statement. Not when he thought he had already gotten to his lowest moment.
He doesn’t think it can get worse, but when he gets bitten by a huge ass dog and his whole world changes, he thinks he spoke too soon.

The family of Artic empire wasn't that close.
The emperor, Phil, never has time for his youngest. Tommy hasn’t seen Techno in months, and even if Wilbur is there, in the capital, their relationship can be described to be not the best.
The royal family doesn’t need to be close, though. It only needs to be balanced. As long as they are strong and steady, the Empire will be too. It’s one thing that held Tommy’s back straight and his shoulders broad through the years of hardships and trials of errors; through yet another formal meeting where his father’s gaze would look way past him and where his brother’s words would be filled with a deep poison that makes the deepest part of his soul ache.
At that time, Tommy couldn't know that his family would soon replace him in the face of a commoner boy named Tubbo.

Basically, I made some characters cyborgs, gave some tech and prosthetics to others. It fits remarkably well. Might eventually make a longer story out of this, but one shots are the extent of my current commitment to this AU.
