Summary
What defines humanity when machines feel more than us?
You had pondered for months after the revolution to find a decent answer. However, you didn't seem to ever find one. They were just like you; they experienced desire, love, happiness, grief - even if people would argue that they were programmed to feel "emotions". And so were humans, too. Programmed to feel, but also programmed to turn it all off. Maybe the differences between you and him weren't so great anymore? Perhaps, the two of you were no different at all, except the color of your blood. And one was made from flesh, whilst the other wasn’t.

Some tags may be added. Who knows? There are so many already. Warnings will be put in notes before the chapter. First fanfiction I am posting. I suck at writing so beware. Also, a lot of projection onto Connor. The title used to just be Found Family but I changed it because it was boring. Yes, I got the title from Supernatural. That show betrayed me but it fits this story so I used the idea.
Stay safe and drink water.

Summary
“Well, Connor, it’s nice to meet you,” their smile never fades, and Connor swears there's a twinkle of something in their eye as they gaze up at him, “I like your coin tricks.”
It was like his thirium pump stuttered at their words, and Connor quickly ran another diagnostic that came up with nothing, even though it felt like his systems were failing because why was he acting like this around them?
“Thanks,” he managed, his grip tightening on the coin in his pocket, “Do you do any tricks with your drumstick?”
Connor finds a new interest in music after seeing the reader's band at a bar.

Summary
The revolution had been a success. They were finally free... Or were they?
The aftermath of the revolution left Detroit desolate. Most of the residents had evacuated, save for the select few that were homeless, or too high on red ice, let alone function properly in any other society.
Although, aside from that, everything else seemed to be going smoothly. Despite having minor complications with coming to terms with his deviancy, Connor had managed to become an official officer of the DPD.
And Hank... Was still Hank.
The only problem is... How will they all react when they find out Markus has a mysterious person coming after him? He's in need of a bodyguard, but the only person he remotely trusts for that job...
Is Connor.

Humans get sick all the time and recover without too much fuss. Hank didn't realize androids could get sick too. He tells himself Connor just needs some time for his weird approximation of an immune system to kick whatever bug he's picked up.

Summary
Insufferable, despicable, the spawn of Satan himself-
Those were the nicest words you could come up with to describe Connor Anderson—Detroit’s first and finest android lawyer—as he smiled at you from across the courtroom after setting another one of your suspects free.
You smiled back out of courtesy, but it took everything in you not to damn professionalism and start cursing him and the factory he came from.
* * *
In which you are a detective with dangerously thin patience, and Connor is a lawyer desperate to be in your good graces.

Rated mature mostly for the themes. There's some very brief gun violence, but it's not graphic, so no archive warnings apply.
[Non-con warning is for some non-con touching, not rape, and NOT involving Gavin.]

”What is my mission?” It asked, feeling reassured that Amanda would treat it as at least a subordinate.
”Did no one tell you? You poor thing. Your mission is to apprehend and destroy any and all deviants you come across.”
RK900 nodded along, creating a new objective.

“He tore out his thirium pump, the android equivalent of a heart, and let himself shutdown,” Connor responds, manually overriding his speech program so the sentence comes out naturally. He doesn’t trust his voice not to crack.
He’s not quite sure why he’s so affected. He’s seen many android deaths before - caused many of them.
