Summary
After a disastrous tour of America, rock star Pink wants nothing more than to retire from the music business. His record label, however, wants nothing more than a new Pink Floyd album. In the process of fulfilling his contractual obligations, Pink becomes acquainted with the young up-and-comer Ziggy Stardust, who wants nothing more than fame- but why? Their meeting gradually fulfills their desires, as well as others that neither of the two could have anticipated.
Meanwhile, several young Americans– Rael, Mylo, Xyloto, and Johnny– want nothing more than to live for the first time in their lives. A difficult task to accomplish, seeing as the Earth has been given a deadline of five years...

Pink is in perfect isolation, there behind his wall. Too bad isolation isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.
My interpretation of “Nobody Home,” primarily done as an exercise in writing from Pink’s POV.

Based on a roleplay @thevideonasty and I did on Tumblr last August after we streamed “Pink Floyd: The Wall”. I already saw it a couple times, but she had not. Thank you, friend, for helping me bring this story to life. “The Wall” as an album and film, including lyrics and music to “In The Flesh” and “Run Like Hell”, belong to Pink Floyd. I DO NOT own these properties.

A summarization of/sequel to Pink Floyd's excellent album, The Wall. After his last disastrous concert, Pink's wife sits by her husband’s bedside in the hospital, where he is in a comatose state, and wonders where it all went wrong. Pink, meanwhile, reveals his side of the story through dreams.
