    Summary

Taking extra precautions, Cullen and Evie protect their budding romance from the Inner Circle and their adversaries. Almost as soon as their relationship begins, the couple must separate as Evie and her comrades travel to the Western Approach. She finds herself surrounded by both Corypheus’ henchmen and her own personal enemies, specifically those who supported her brothers’ killer. The Inquisitor's growing emotions for Cullen force her to recognize the associations with her abused body and her guarded heart. Alone, the Inquisitor suffers continuous setbacks as she battles both her internal and external demons.

At Skyhold, the Inquisition’s advisors run the organization alone. Emotions run high throughout the fortress with each new troubling situation. With Evie hundreds of leagues away, Cullen slowly succumbs to his worsening withdraw symptoms. The consequences of his past decisions and actions plague him mercilessly.

The Inquisition may fight to save the Grey Wardens, but it may fall to their mutual enemy: Fear.

    Summary

What if Evie convinced her brother, Rian, to stay at Ostwick Circle instead of assisting the mage-hunter, Ser Rylock, in recapturing Anders in Amaranthine City? How would the future have changed by that simple decision? Would the mage’s Circle life been different? Would Esme have become a templar and went to Kirkwall? Who among the group traveling from the Free Marches would have been the Herald of Andraste?

“Chronicles of a Dead Man” is the outcome of a simple change occurring before the “Fire In Your Eyes” saga and how it would have future consequences on the Trevelyan Family and subsequently the Inquisition.

(To fully understand this mini-series, it highly advised you read "Fire In Your Eyes”, but it is not required. This stands on its own, but only includes the changed decisions made by specific circumstances. It doesn't detail specific events in DA:I. If you have read FIYE, enjoy learning about Evie’s changed world and life.)

    Summary

When you're the daughter of Philliam, A Bard!, there are only so many jobs that make sense. Rather than pursue her father's path in questionable yet well-selling anthologies, Evelyn decided a future as an Orlesian Bard would be better suited to her. Why bother with cutting wit when cutting blades were so close at hand, right? What she lacks in turn of written word, she makes up for with juggling, knife-throwing and bawdy jokes about the Dowager and the tiny harpsicord player. But she doesn't just seek to entertain and spy for coin. Evelyn is a woman seeking answers, and a man - because who isn't - and she would wager the Inquisition is the fastest path to both, and wager high.

Dedicated to TheWinterWren, without whom, I would have given up on this fic and character entirely.

    Summary

A personal invitation from Divine Justinia and a sealed Circle file? Evelyn Trevelyan was as much an enigma as the glowing mark on her hand to Leliana. Cassandra believed her family influenced her special position at the Conclave, much like they garnered respect and fear in the Chantry and the Templar Order. The noble family’s exclusive lyrium shipping rights across the Waking Sea awed Josephine. Cullen figured their new Herald of Andraste was a just fragile, snobby Circle mage. Her cooperation was vital if the Inquisition wished to seal the Breach.

Who they got was Enchanter Evie Trevelyan, an overly sarcastic, easily angered fire mage who mistrusts the advisors as much as herself. Their new ‘Herald of Andraste’ swayed between an inspirational icon and a weeping, broken woman. As the mage and the Inquisition discover their new roles in chaotic Thedas, everyone’s pasts creep into the picture. More is there than meets the eye. Can the Inquisition protect their Herald from assassins, conflicting mages and templars, and each other? The Inquisition and its leaders must be her safe haven.

    Summary

After losing Haven and fleeing into the Frostback Mountains, the Inquisition discovers it needs a new home and direction, establishing itself at Skyhold. The advisors determine they need a permanent leader to guide the faithful against Corypheus, and Evie is asked to be Inquisitor. The mage accepts, shedding her past chains and declaring a new chapter in her life to bring forth change.

However, Evie quickly discovers she has traded one pair of shackles for another, overwhelmed by both her divine role as the Herald of Andraste and the emotional and physical demands of being the Inquisitor. Pressures from the Trevelyans, Orlesians, and Templars began burying the fire mage. Her Inner Circle invades her personal life. Her only saving grace is Cullen, who makes it his duty to be her protector, despite his own past creeping throughout Skyhold. The commander recognizes quickly the woman he has grown to care about is falling through very thin ice. Evie must choose between what is expected of her titles and what brings her happiness.
