Summary
I'm writing this instead of revising for my history exam in which I'm apparently not allowed to reference Philip's whore vibes as historical context. It's basically a summary of Richard I's reign, third crusade etc but not very historically accurate, and with my own ships. Some of which are canon, mind you.

Bored (and quite possibly boring) career bureaucrat Phillippe Capet gets in over his head when he tries to delay a minor infrastructure project for reasons of petty spite and a latent sense of Catholic guilt.

"What in God's name was he doing in a tourney? Geoffrey hates tourneys!" The messenger opened his mouth as if to answer, but Richard looked so menacing that he closed it again. "That idiot!" he growled. "Probably trying to impress Philip. How badly is he injured?"
"Badly, your grace. They said..." The messenger grew pale, expecting another outburst. "They said he might not recover. King Philip says he asks for you."

Summary
Philip's journey from Paris was the shorter distance, yet he arrived later, almost as dark was falling. Richard, knowing his tactics well, refused to be goaded so easily into impatience. "I'll wager you wish you hadn't burned the bridge at Porte Joie now," he said cheerfully by way of greeting. "You could have been here in time for dinner. It was splendid, by the way. We saved you some scraps."

Summary
Much and Robin have been part of the Siege of Accre for a year now while battles, illnesses and difficulties with supplies take their toll on the men.
In the middle of this Much and Robin are captured by the enemy to be sold into slavery. Robin as a noble can buy his own freedom but Much remains captive unless Robin finds a way to free him. Robin does, of course, save him in a very dangerous and risky coup and they return to see the fall of Accre.
Still, tension runs high between Richard and Phillip of France while Richard contemplates marrying his sister to Saladin's brother.
In the meanwhile Much befriends the Knight Templar Thomas who is no less reckless than Robin but still confuses Much a lot more than his master ever did. -

Summary
For Richard, truth is a simple thing. Philip's heart and soul are more complex. Note: the "underage" tag refers to the briefly-referenced fact (in the movie 'verse) that Philip was 15 when his affair with Richard took place; there is nothing explicit in this story.
