Summary
During the third summer of the war, the Greek and Trojan forces are at a stalemate, with neither side having made progress for months. In the Greek camps on the shore, Antilochus, Prince of Pylos and the youngest commander, finds himself amidst seething antagonism threatening to turn into full-fledged infighting. While his father is deferential to their commander-in-chief, Antilochus finds himself falling hard for the rebellious Myrmidons and taking a lust-fueled turn into the arms of Achilles and Patroclus.
Behind the walls of Troy, Prince Hektor continues to face dismal odds of his kingdom's survival. Their only hope is their patron god, and Apollo seems to have a particular interest in Hektor. He'd probably feel luckier if Apollo's favor didn't lead him into Hektor's bedchamber so often, but he can't deny that having a god as a lover feels good—until he wakes up the morning after.

Summary
Odysseus is tasked with finding Achilles--the greatest warrior of his age, without whom the Greeks cannot possibly win in Troy--but he has so many places to look and the young man's companion, who is traveling with himself and his comrade Diomedes, is so very distracting. In one kingdom Patroclus does something he really, really shouldn't have and it's up to Odysseus and Diomedes to punish him in kind.
It's strange how close living next to someone can bring you, even when you want different things.
Back by popular (?) demand, more Patroclus/Odysseus/Diomedes being ooc idiots in their travels. Originally meant to be chapter 2 to Step Three: Profit but the whole thing got out of control. Some angst towards the end.

Summary
A few drabbles--not quite a 5+1--about the relationship of Achilles and Patroclus, and the ways they are different and alike. Starts light but ends pretty angsty.Heroes rarely lead happy lives and it was often the ones they loved most who bore the brunt of the pain, and Achilles loved Patroclus with the type of love that only gods and the extremely god-blooded could. The gods unfortunately did not like to be rivaled in anything.
(Patroclus was god-blooded and talented too—more so than he thought, even—and the strength of his love rivaled the strength of Achilles for him, but it was of a more mortal type that allowed room for distance and even death. Achilles’s affection was godly in ways even Heracles could not match.)
+1 is up! There is Romans and shrines and cults and an island!
