    Summary

Patrcolus got dragged to a football game from the boyfriend of one of his friends. At first he didn't saw anything nice in the sport. Just some people who kick a ball around, and get mad very easily. And it did not made it better that one of the most annoying people in the world was also there. But maybe if you just spend a few hours watching it, you see more than ever.

    Summary

I yawned, bored with this as I kept lazily playing, “What’s your name?”

I thought I had been loud enough but the room remained silent except for my lazy playing.

    I repeated, “What’s your name?”

    This time he answered, “Patroclus”.

I stopped my playing and turned to my side to get a look of him. He had an accent that was thick and rich. His name rolled off his tongue and I found myself repeating it.

    Patroclus. Patroclus. Patroclus.

He was once a Prince, but had been exiled for murder. He didn’t look like a murderer. I had expected him to be bigger and to be more muscular like the other boys. I remembered the servants telling me about him. Instead, he was smaller and tanned from his journey here. He didn’t look me in the eyes, but I wished he did. I smiled at him, hoping that it would draw a smile out of him.

“My name is Achilles.” It was an attempt to get him to talk again. I wanted to hear his accent again.

    Summary

“We should get married,” Patroclus said, so nonchalantly Achilles almost didn’t respond, thinking it was just another phrase he replayed in his head near daily of all the things he wished Patroclus would say to him.
    “What?”
“What do you think? I mean, of course I mean like, if neither of us find anyone by the time we’re 30 or something.”
“Oh,” Achilles said, his brain failing to find a proper response. “Yeah, sure, ok.” He tried to bury the spark of hope ignited within him, but he knew he was blushing.
    “Ok then. 30 it is.”

    Summary

    A word of caution:

This is not a sexual fiction.
It's rated and tagged accordingly, because it deals with sensitive content. Trauma.

The tags serve as Trigger Warnings. If you've read TSOA, you know what has happened.
This will be more detailed then what's in the book, albeit not descriptive of any sexual acts.
It's going in on the terror and feelings of Achilles during this time and his mother's disapproval of his relationship, which weren't touched on enough in the book for my taste.
This seemed to be a huge, impactful incident in their lives, that changes absolutely everything, so I decided to give it a try and explore what Achilles went through.

It also touches on Achilles' gender identity and how he is quite gender-non-conforming, if you think about it.

Unlike the other parts of the series, this is written from Achilles' POV.

Also, this is a work in progress and it's rather more difficult to write than the other, light hearted stuff.
    So please be patient.

    Summary

He is eighteen, freshly home from his first and last Olympics, and he steps out of the taxi to find the front lawn of his house littered with black garbage bags, little cards affixed to them on which Patroclus’s name is neatly printed. They contain all of his belongings.

He sits on the curb for he-doesn’t-know-how long. When his neighbor’s car pulls up, she lets Patroclus into her house to use her phone. He dials the number that is more muscle memory than anything else at this point. Peleus answers, and within an hour, Achilles has the family car in front of Patroclus’s house and is stuffing the trash bags in the trunk.

“Fuck your old man,” he says, slamming it shut.

They don’t speculate out loud why this happened. They don’t have to. They know. They can say it was the heat of the moment or the highs of winning or whatever other excuse will allow sponsors and coaches and teammates to look the other way and pretend it was less than it was, but the footage was played live: Achilles breaking a world record, Achilles jumping into Patroclus’s arms, Achilles kissing him stupid.

    Summary

You came as foster child of my fathers. You came as an orphan, rights and names stripped from you by your father himself. The servants had told me that you had killed a man. They said that you killed him in cold blood because he took your toys.

You scuffed your feet, and the sound made me realise that I was not alone anymore. I looked at you and you saw me.
You looked younger than me, even though our age was the same. That must have been due to my mother’s blood, which was mixed with mine. You were beautiful in a way that others were not. The deep, endless dark of your eyes, the swirls of your curls as they fell into your eyes, the defiant way you held your body. Part of your beauty lay in the fact that you plainly did not know how beautiful you were. There was something in your eyes that I could not decipher. It was a sparkle of wild feelings, which burned in your insides.

I yawned; I had not slept since the night before. I was tired from training, speaking with my mother and not feeling like I was living in my own skin. “What is your name?”

    “Patroclus,” you said.

    Summary

“I will not go. I will not go to Troy.”

I looked at you. This was final. You and I would be together forever.
Your soft skin would crinkle in time and your beautiful dark eyes would go cloudy. But it would be long until then.
There would be no time running through our fingers. We could stay together without fear and hurt.

I liked this image of our future together. If we went to war, only I would be thriving. I was aware of your opinion on violence. It would not be fair to pull you with me into a world you despised. Together, we could form our life to our liking. The both of us could be equally happy.

What if they do not go to Troy?

    Summary

Ever since Silena Beauregard was a child, she would have strange, almost prophetic-like dreams about a handsome, golden-haired prince from Phthia. But unlike every other demigod, her dreams aren't trying to warn her about imminent death; they're just dreams. If anything, their only use seems to be giving her poorly-timed deja vu. And they only continue to get worse the older she gets.
At age sixteen, Silena comes to a terrifying realization: her dreams are a double-edged sword, and they come with a cost she's not entirely sure she can afford. Will the visions of her golden-haired prince's death in the Trojan War save her or lead her to her own demise?

Or: What if Silena was really just the reincarnation of Patroclus?

    Summary

Achilles looked into his eyes intently, unwavering. His arms were on either side of Patroclus, trapping him against the table as he leaned closer, feeling the soft hitch of Patroclus' breath on his chin as the other slowly angled his head up to him. Achilles was enticed by him, his underlying beauty. Patroclus' gaze fell to his lips, which curled into a small, victorious smile. As one of his hands rose to brush away the tuft of hair behind his ear that never quite lay flat, he felt the way Patroclus arched into his touch. With his mouth only an inch from Achilles' own, he felt how Patroclus trembled. He would too if he was unsure. But he was not. He had wanted this for as long as he could remember.

He decided to culminate the tension sizzling in the air between their lips and put them both out of their misery. Patroclus' fingers entangled in his shirt, right over the steadfast rhythm of his heart as the tip of their noses touched.

    "Cut!" yelled the director.

Aight, now that I’m past denial and anger, all I can think of is AU where through the hopeless heavy dusk Hector’s two brain cells meet and before stabbing Patroclus, he has one hell of an idea. If Apollo meant for Pat to die, like … he would have died, I don’t know, any one of the four times Apollo kicked him off the wall? No, Hector should have totally realized that Aristos Achaion has just fedexed him literally the perfect hostage. Like how does this play out? I need to know. You need to know. We all need to know. Does Achilles learn his lesson? Does it still end in tragedy? Does the lion make bargains with men after all? Read my shit wnd we’ll find out together because this is a weekly release.

Also here I am forever losing my shit that homer’s word for rage is orgí. Like I guess it’s PG if you spell it with a fancy little letter i. I have a literature degree, I swear to god I do.
