Summary
Ed was healing.
He’d noticed bits and pieces of it over the past month. He saw it in the way Lucius forgave him for attempted murder after having lived in the walls for weeks. He heard it in the way the crew talked about him when they didn’t know he was listening, respect and even friendliness in their voices. He felt it in the way he didn’t second guess himself anymore, the way he could be both Ed and Blackbeard and not be afraid of what anyone thought.
And when he caught Stede gazing at him, smiling at him even, he knew it for sure.

Summary
“Well, that’s that, then. I know he’s your friend, Ed, but he was a toxic influence on the crew. And on you as well,” Stede declared.
Something about those words stung Ed just a little. He wasn’t not-not himself with Jack. It was just that being around him seemed to bring out the part of him that enjoyed giving and receiving pain. Cut your finger and you’ll forget about your chronic headache, if only for a little while.
But slowly, Stede was showing him that a moment of warmth and connection could be just as distracting.
------
This story begins assuming Calico Jack left the Revenge, Ed stayed, and there was no betrayal. How would the slow burn of Ed and Stede's relationship have carried on? How long would it take for them to realize their feelings for each other in the absence of life-changing events? Some relationship angst, some sweet, soft moments, some jealousy, and some action as well!
Includes two original characters: an old friend of Stede's named Declan (headcannoned to Jemaine Clement) and Captain Richard Greaves (Idris Elba), an old colleague of Ed's. Declan brings the jealousy. Greaves brings the ghosts of Ed's past.
Fluff and non-graphic smut.

Summary
Edward, Stede thinks, examining the man laying on the bed. He looks for all the world like a fearsome outlaw, which makes the failed robbery all the more confusing to Stede, but there’s a vulnerability in his sleeping face that tugs on his heartstrings. Stede’s always been a bit of a sucker for a stray. He attributes it to being a bit of a stray himself.
Edward looks tired. Really tired, more than just the wound would justify.
Perhaps he can get some rest here. Perhaps Stede can help with that, at least.
In which notorious outlaw Edward Teach and his band of miscreants are taken in by kindly ranch owner Stede Bonnet and his misfit crew of semi-reformed criminals.
AKA the cowboy au no one asked for but I desperately want. Yeehaw.

Summary
Ed meets Stede on a beach in Barbados a month before the Revenge is finished. Ed decides that kidnapping a wealthy (handsome) man might break the monotony of being Blackbeard. Stede is a little too on board with being kidnapped.
Basically, an alternate meeting slow-burn AU.

Summary
“Marriage, John! How’s a bloke propose marriage?” he whispered intently into his ear.
“Are we talkin’ about Stede?”
“Yeah, man! Help me out here!”
“Why me? Certainly you’ve been ‘round as much as I have, more even!”
“Sure, but, Stede’s different, man, you know that!” Ed risked a glance over his shoulder to see if Stede was listening in. He remained fixated on his conversation with Fang, fortunately. “I can’t just…ask him!”
“I think I take your meaning, Cap’n,” Feeney took a sip of his mead with an impish gleam in his eyes. “You want the askin’ t’ be special.”
“Exactly!” He relented, “So can you help me out?”
“Hmm, maybe,” the big man looked thoughtful. “Back when I worked in me mother’s shop, I’d overhear the ladies chatterin’ all the time. So I know what they liked their men folk t’ do. Not sure if that will help you with Stede, though.”
Ed was already at the edge of his seat, eager for any morsel of information on how to do this right. “Tell me,” he begged.
Or, Ed is desperately ready to ask Stede for his hand in matelotage, but he wants everything to be perfect.

Summary
Simply put, there are two wolves inside of Ed, and both of them are fucking dickheads.
Wolf One: he ditched, humiliated, rejected, discarded, toyed with, jilted, abandoned, dropped, used, demeaned you. Wolf One knows a lot of words which all mean he said yes and then you sat on a dock watching the sunrise alone. Wolf One is out for Stede’s blood.
Wolf Two: he’s too good, pretty, kind, funny, clever, mad, sparkling, precious, cultured, educated, good, good, good to be in your grubby hands. Wolf Two is out for blood as well, but it’s Ed’s that she wants.

A post-season reunion/fix-it, in Ed's frenetic, horny, chaotic POV. Ed decides to take charge of fixing things when Stede returns. There's angst, there's sex, there's feels, there's sex. This is a sequel to Enough to Enrage the Gods however both can also be read as entirely stand alone, you don't need to read that first to read this one.

Ships that pass in the night, and speak each other in passing,
Only a signal shown and a distant voice in the darkness;
So on the ocean of life we pass and speak one another,
Only a look and a voice, then darkness again and a silence.

Summary
Edward Teach removes himself from everyday life to escape an old history that he's sure is still following him. He's been living in the mountains by a small town for years, living on his self-established homestead to stay as off the grid as he can. He seems to be the epitome of rugged manliness; something a soft-handed, well-off man admires greatly. He's got the life Stede Bonnet could only imagine in his distant day dreams.
So when the well-off man wants to help out and learn the ropes of how to live such a rugged life, what can Ed do but try and help him keep an axe blade out of his leg?
If he survives the experience, maybe Ed can start returning all the pieces of Stede's wardrobe he keeps collecting. -

Summary
“Oh… That’s some damn good marmalade.”
“It’s the best,” Stede agrees. He’s eating a bite too. “Ship’s stores are loaded with it. Had to get rid of some gunpowder, but I think it was the right move.”
With a little effort, I reposition my body so that I can face him, completely perplexed by what he just said. I couldn’t tell if he was joking at first, but now that I can see his face, I know he’s dead serious. I study him, bewildered and mystified once again. This man has an entire library and a hidden closet full of expensive clothing on his pirate ship. This is a captain who hired a completely incompetent crew and still pays them a salary regardless of the success of their raids. He openly admits to removing gunpowder to make room for marmalade on his vessel. A man who a mere 24 hours ago was at death’s door after being stabbed and hanged, surrounded by battle cries and cannon fire, gazed up at the most feared pirate in all the world and smiled at him.

OFMD Season 1 entirely from Edward’s point of view. There isn’t much deviation from canon, but I needed to explore Ed’s psyche and process it from his perspective because I can’t stop thinking about him or Stede or this show <3
