Summary
After the meal, the dancing, the endless toasts, a servant led him to a private room. It was... nice. Warm, over-furnished but in a cozy way, not in a behold-my-empire way. Zuko was sprawled comfortably on a divan, his face pink with wine.
"You came," he said, smiling.
"You told me to," Sokka said.
The smile slipped off his face.
"Right," Zuko said. "Yes."

Sokka and Zuko meet again after a bad break-up.
One of them has grown up.

Summary
Follows Zuko's journey as he tries to integrate into to gaang starting with the Western Air Temple. Stayed very loyal to the show timeline with some obvious embellishments. This is a precursor to my later series with lots of relationship details that might be helpful for my later series when Zukka is full force!

Summary
"Sokka" Zuko spoke, garnering the tribesman's attention.
"Fire Lord Zuko," Sokka said, lowering his gaze to avoid Zuko's eyes, "you look well," Zuko felt so small.
Sokka spoke mechanically, rehearsed, like the conversation was strained and the six words were something he might choke on.
It dawned on him.
Zuko was alone, not even Hakoda was here to defend him from the carnivorous harpies, it was just him. His hands shook, lips trembled, but he did his best to show face. His smile disappeared, his warmth dying like the last coals on a hearth, and Zuko felt cold.
He hated the cold.

Summary
TheGaang is going live.
[Aang, Sokka, Suki, Katara and Toph are huddled around the camera sitting in various positions on the floor. Aang starts speaking.]
“Hey everyone! Welcome to our stream! We don’t really have a plan for tonight, so we thought we’d just hang out and chat. Maybe answer some questions?”
[Comments start pouring in.]
[Suki pushes her way towards the camera.]
“Here’s a question for me! captainassmerica asks, ‘Are you and Aang going to spar again anytime soon?’”
[She pauses, thinking.]
“I’m not sure,”
[Suki glances over at Aang and elbows him in the ribs.]
“Ready to get your butt kicked again?”
[Katara smirks and joins in the conversation.]
“It’s not like he could lose worse than Sokka did.”

Summary
Zuko had had enough of his roommate. He’d probably talked to the guy twice since moving in and both interactions had been insufferable. Sokka slept all day and stayed out all night. If he was up during the day he was in his room.
The only sign of life was the obnoxiously loud music that always blasted from his room. Today, Zuko had worked an 8-hour shift and dealt with Karen’s all day long.
After coming home late, Zuko prayed for peace and a good cup of tea. While the tea happened, the peace, unfortunately, did not.
Sitting at the table gritting his teeth, Zuko listened to the heavy bass which could be heard through the thick wall between Sokka’s room and the kitchen. That was the last straw.
(OR: Sokka is a SoundCloud rapper. Zuko is gay and tired).

Summary
When the Hundred Years' War ended, Sokka and Prince Zuko did not part as friends; instead they were always bitter rivals. In Sokka's eyes, anyway. Years later, he still harbors his grudge, and Zuko still strides around like he's perfect - which is exactly the problem.
It isn't such a big deal, until the Crown Prince Lu Ten invites the Southern Water Tribe to his wedding, and Sokka must represent Cheif Hakoda at the ceremony and reception. It isn't such a big deal, until he and Zuko nearly come to blows and ruin Lu Ten's wedding cake.
To prevent panic and international strife, Sokka and Zuko feign a doting friendship, and Sokka perhaps begins to see Zuko in a different light.

Sokka never meant to become Zuko's stalker.
The fact that he ended up watching him from the rooftop? Eavesdropping on private conversations? Following him everywhere he went?
Total coincidence.

“Dude, you haven’t been following any of that stuff about the Blue Spirit? It’s so cool!” Sokka joined Mai on the floor, sitting in the butterfly pose and leaning forward to touch the floor as far as he could reach.
“Um, no. Not really.” Zuko sighed, pulling his leg up into a quadricep stretch.
“Awe, not a fan of the new vigilante, Zuko?” Mai deadpanned, blowing a strand of hair from her face.
“I don’t know, why should I care about some random guy trying to get himself killed? It’s not like one person can do enough to make a difference.”
“You know what I always love about you, Zuko?” Sokka stood, bouncing on the balls of his feet and grinning as he stretched his arms. “You always look on the bright side.”
“Practically a ray of sunshine.” Mai chimed in.
“Whatever. Hard to be disappointed if you don’t look forward to anything.”

Summary
They finish their moment in a flash that feels far too quick for Zuko's liking, and they both turn to look back to the rest of the group. “Anyways, we’re not dating,” Sokka says.
Zuko shakes his head cluelessly. “Yeah, I don’t know why you would think that.”
They’re met with astonished gaping from the adults.(And an exasperated sigh from Suki, because her idiots have fallen in love.)
Or, after the Boiling Rock, Chit Sang makes the mistake of assuming Sokka, Zuko and Suki are all together. This prompts some thoughts from our boys.

Summary
It’s possible, Katara realizes, that Zuko doesn’t even know he has a crush on Sokka. Maybe he’s having some sort of sexuality crisis or, worse, shoving his feelings down in the emotionally repressed way all Fire Nation men seem to do.
She supposes it’s up to her to fix that.
or: zuko and katara’s very extended life-changing field trip, featuring oblivious boys, matchmaking, and a big ‘fuck you’ to the patriarchy

Summary
[Time passes oddly. Between one second and the next, Sokka has the Fire Lord pinned to the wall with his hands around the bastard’s throat. Golden eyes (one gold eye, his mind whispers) widen in shock.
“Sokka?” he chokes out. And then he smiles.
What the fuck?
“Sokka, I—”
Sokka slams his head against the wall, once, twice, and the smile wipes off his face. Good.
“What,” Sokka bites out, “have you done to my sister?”]
Or:
An injury leaves Sokka with amnesia. His last memory is of the failed invasion, of leaving his father behind in enemy territory on the Day of Black Sun. Of hopelessness. Rage.
But then he wakes up, and the war is over. Suddenly, he must come to terms with the fact that years have passed, and that he's somehow the Southern Water Tribe Ambassador to the Fire Nation. He is also supposedly friends with banished-Prince-turned-Fire-Lord Zuko, of all people. Close friends.
Yeah, nah.
