Summary
He has no one to teach him but himself. He doesn't want himself, though, he likes who he is. He's not sure who that is, and the more of himself he finds, the less of him he knows. But at least he has Pumpkin, the best horse in the world. His horse, not the horse from himself. Though, all horse is good horse.
Too bad horses can't tell you how to deal with this destiny stuff.

Previous summary: "He's a blank slate, with a blank slate. But as his slate begins to fill, so does he. The slate in his hand fills, and empties, and fills again. He keeps it neat, and organized, and empty of riffraff and clutter.
But the slate in his head? Not so much."

Summary
It's always the Heroes that are left to clean up the mess the Royalty leaves behind. But, when The Chain finds this mess to clean up, they never would have thought it was one of their own. And never in their dreams was it one so young, even one hundred years after their gravest of sins were committed. They're lucky they're dead already or Time would have ripped them apart. Him and everyone else in the Chain, Hero or not.

Summary
Her brows pinched together. Link was talking to Mipha, who was acting downright flirtatious. She was laughing lightly into the back of her hand, cocking her shoulders upward with sly comments that pulled her lips into a cheshire smirk.
They were flirting. Zelda did not know what to make of it.

Summary
Sidlink is one of my comfort ships so this is just a little something I'm writing to satiate my touch starved self.
Link is an autistic, nonverbal high school student. He moves to a new school, luckily where his best friend Zelda goes, and even more luckily where he'll meet Sidon. They're both pining idiots and dance around each other for a while, meanwhile Link is his stupid self and Zelda is trying to be helpful.

Time runs an arcade, The Lost Woods. And it's a haven to all sorts of kids from all walks of life. He's not sure where some of them come from, not all of them are close to him. But some are. And some are closer than they have any right to be, considering their ten thousand year old promise.

Summary
Those like you, those who share the blood of the goddess and the spirit of the hero, they are eternally bound to this curse. An incarnation of my hatred shall ever follow your kind, dooming them to wander a blood-soaked sea of darkness for all time.
This is the curse that has bound Link's soul to Zelda's bloodline, to Hyrule, and to malice for thousands of years. It is through this curse that he is born again, and again, and again, the same soul worn down into something harder and more serious with every passing generation. With every evil that Link defeats, he grows wearier and more determined, and by all rights that should be the end of it.
Then a portal through time opens, from one Master Sword chamber to another. And Ocarina meets another Link for the first time.
Four years later, Wild's portal finally opens, and as a collective they decide that this curse needs to be cut off... before it gets any worse than it had for Wild.

Summary
It turns out that the death of the Calamity doesn't prevent more things from falling apart.
A year after the fall of Calamity Ganon, eighteen year old Link goes back in time to before the end of the world, before the fall of Hyrule, before he ever even drew his sword, and starts to fix things before they can go wrong. It takes a while before he realizes he might be able to regain pieces of himself, too.

Summary
“How do you feel?” the Zora pressed after a very long moment, rocking forward just a little, eyes wide with worry. Her hands and arms were painted in soul paint of varying shades and colors, all plainly visible in her loose outfit. There was one particular streak of grass green on one of her palms, one that felt somehow intimately familiar.
Link blinked at her, and discovered that his mouth didn’t want to speak the way hers did. His hands moved to do it instead, as if on instinct. I feel tired. What happened? Where are we?
“We’re in the Shrine of Resurrection,” the Gerudo interrupted, sweeping in beside the Zora and setting a firm hand on her arm. Her eyes were narrow and uncompromising, though still, Link thought, warm. There was a child-sized smear of bright sunshine yellow soul paint on her cheek, and just a few scattered over her hands. “It’s no wonder you feel tired, you’ve been through quite an ordeal. But it’s time to get back to work.”
Link blinked at her, blankly bemused.
Who are you? he asked, in signs he seemed to recall only as he used them.

Summary
It varied a little between kingdoms, but for Hylians, there were four major scent glands: one on each wrist, and another just below the jaw on each side of the neck. Correspondingly, Link wore two thin metal cuffs and a choker with a small pendant, each one engraved with an array of Sheikah runes.
A lot of people asked why Link dampened his scent until he smelled of nothing at all. He’d never seen a reason to give them an answer.
Despite this, no one ever seemed to have difficulty identifying Link as an alpha. It was in the confident way he carried himself, in his unflinching gaze, the lack of hesitation in everything he did. It didn’t matter that his stature was short and delicate; there were plenty of alphas twice his size with half his quiet authority. That he never got caught up in territorial spats or lost his cool around an omega in heat just meant that he had excellent self-control.
The truth, of course, was that Link was broken. Wasn’t that what everything boiled down to?

Summary
Link brought a lot of things back with him from the future: ancient weaponry, warnings and foreknowledge, all of his armor and elixirs and stockpiled supplies. All of that was invaluable to the group of survivors working determinedly to reclaim Hyrule from the hands of the encroaching Calamity.
He also brought his fear of guardians, and he can't stop looking at the guardian egg's glowing blue eye.

Summary
“You like when I hold you down?”
Link closed his eyes and nodded quickly.
“You are always so full of delightful surprises…” Sidon purred, keeping his hold on his arms as he continued to thrust shallowly into him. At long last, he was fully inside and his second cock was laying on Link’s tight stomach, leaking onto his tan skin. Link’s body clenched around him and Sidon saw his own cock twitch inside of him—he saw it.

The first fight against the Calamity leaves Link permanently disabled, in constant pain, and dogged with nightmares and insecurity. The second fight has fewer permanent effects, but when it still leaves him all but bedridden for weeks, Zelda goes to Impa for help while he recovers.
Link doesn't want to. Impa has never been there for him before, so why should now be any different?

"But you open your eyes and bolt upright and you are present and awake and alive and you gulp for your breath as though you’ve forgotten to do it otherwise and cry your stuttering lungs out like a new-born would do after their first inhale.
You’re alive."
//
What if the princess and her knight successfully managed to defeat Ganon and his herd of monsters the first time round? What if, although they won, both Heroes of Hyrule and their loyal companions vanished from the face of earth, leaving no traces behind? And what if the demise of the beast still was the demise of a kingdom, as after the grand battle half the land lay in ruins?
And most of all: what if, a hundred years later, the heroes reappeared out of nowhere, left to fend for themselves in a world that had long believed them gone and moved on without them?
(Alternatively: a story of Link coming to terms with having fulfilled his destined purpose whilst dealing with grief, anger, sorrow, uncertainty and maybe even love.)
