Summary
There is a grave named Stiles Stilinski. Scott still visits it, even when John had stopped. It has been six years since the night Donovan Donnatti died in the hands of Stiles Stilinski. And six years and seven days since the then-Sheriff, John, was attacked by a chimera with no Stiles by his hospital bed. And six years and eleven days since his body was found in his jeep, pale and cold.
Six years and fourteen days since Lydia emerged from Eichen House, sane and more dangerous than ever, swearing to find the boy who ran with the wolves. Now at the anniversary of day they found his dead body in his jeep, the Stilinski house burns down. And Scott finds a familiar face in the crowd of onlookers and fire fighters.

The nogitsune is gone – and it left everyone a wreck. Allison and Aiden survived, barely. Isaac is all over the place, Scott is a mess, Derek and Peter do their thing alone again which isn't healthy (for Derek at least), Kira is mildly traumatized, Lydia is a lot traumatized, and Stiles-
Stiles doesn't even pretend to be okay anymore.
He's really, really not.
Turns out trying to resolve massive trauma, years long at times, while simultaniously juggling with relationships, friendship and family is a hard task. They insist on managing it together, though; until something goes very wrong, again.

A geyser of root beer erupted from Scott’s nose and mouth, followed by the surprised shouts of Lydia and Erica as they dodged the surge. Malia snarled in irritation as some splashed her shirt. Scott stood from the table as he coughed and fought for air. Kira clapped him on the back while Isaac helped Lydia and Erica pile napkins on the soda-soaked table.
“You… what?” Scott wheezed once the table was wiped down and the commotion had finally died down. “You think… WHAT?”

Derek Hale is confused by Stiles Stilinski, or at least Derek's sexuality is confused. He knows that Stiles feels some kind of way toward him, but a discovery on Stiles' laptop leaves no question to HOW much Stiles likes him.
This would be fine, if they weren't also fighting Big Bads, Bad Alphas, and age of consent laws. Add to it the pressures of learning magic, graduations, and a Sheriff for a potential father in law, things just aren't going to be easy.
But they'll definitely be worth it.

I'm aware that Mitch may not be as in character as he is in the American Assassin book so let me know if you like how I write him or if you'd like me to improve on my characterization of him. -
