“My name is Ninomae Ina’nis. That’s a bit of a mouthful though, so most people just call me Ina,” she says, while Sana grasps her hand gently, like one might a small animal. The setting sun stretches the shadows from the old tree outside the window, snaking branches and bony fingers dragging across the hospital floor, the ghost of a tight grip on Sana’s lungs.
“I’m sorry for asking, since you went through all the trouble of visiting and everything... but, um, do I know you?”

They graze her skin and just the sensation makes her shiver. It's bruising, not the action- no, that's so full of love that it makes Amelia's heart want to burst- but the message hidden behind it. Ina is toying with her, using hints of teeth and occasional sharp touches because she knows what it does to Amelia.
