    Marco’s is a traitorous heart, fitting the child of a smuggler with more concern for coin that his son’s well-being. He thinks on his father’s transgressions, and yet Marco finds himself unable to to anything but scramble to save the man who has stolen from him his freedom, his hopes, what little name he has made for himself in Cambulac. It is a sacrifice Prince Jingim cannot understand.
