"Mikey?" he turned to look towards Ken-chin, who was looking down on him with a weird expression.
He looked around them, before making a head motion towards the giant, his hands still cushioning the girls head.
"Scatter!" the blonde yelled, and he watched as his friends words turning into law for everyone but the four.
A red haired boy came forward, his gaze never meeting his.
"Can, can we take our friend?" he asked, his voice surprisingly steady.
It took a moment for him to realise who they meant, before it dawned on him.
Mikey passed the sleeping girl to the red head, watching him carefully take her in his arms.
He walked back towards where Draken was, next to the idiots who were responsible for all of this...
"Wait-" he stopped, as did the four boys, "What is her name?" he asked, a voice inside of him telling him that if he didn't... he would regret it.

In which, this was supposed to be a character study on past takemichi but it's gotten out of hand that it became the misadventures of past takemichi.If Takemichi thinks the biggest difference between him right now and him of the future, it's their obsession. He is obsessed with money, with surviving, with recognition. The other him, Takemitchy, is obsessed with saving people, who are by the way, a lost cause.
(Can't he just understand that those people are not worth it? Takemichi didn't struggle to survive just to have it be crushed by trying to save others.)
