Sam brought Dream to the edge of the corridor. “I am going to let go of your arm now. You are to walk to the end of the hall. Do you understand?”
“You don’t have to tell me, Sam,” Dream said, still scowling. “I know all the little precautions you put in this place.”
“Then you know that the portal is deactivated right now, so there’s nowhere for you to run. Now walk to the end of the hall.”

After Tommy confronts Dream and takes two of his lives, Dream is dragged off to Sam’s prison - the one known as Pandora’s Vault. Under Sam's watchful eye, Dream is thrown into the maximum security cell surrounded by lava. He has nothing to do except plan his escape and talk to the visitors that Sam brings him.
Dream's first visitor is Sapnap.

The Thin Man hates hospitals.
This, to anybody who knows his story, is unsurprising. It would be foolish to suggest he could ever see them as a place of healing after being snatched and grabbed at by mannequins, nearly getting his face crushed by a possessed limb that scuttered along the floor like some twisted spider and burning The Doctor alive. He supposes, more specifically, he hates The Pale City hospital. It'd been his first exposure to a clinical institute, though there was hardly anything clinical about it, and it did not give a good first impression. It did not supply medicine and care, only trauma and a myriad of phobias.
It's just his luck to be back in that same place, where Mono, Six and RK have been admitted as critical patients.

All Felix could see was darkness. He felt the fabric covering his eyes was too tight but didn't have time to worry about such small matters. He was being carried over someone's shoulder. He didn't fight or flail around, that wouldn't do right now. It wouldn't help. The person carrying him was alone, only one pair of footsteps echoed in the night. He didn't know where they were headed but he had an anxious feeling in the pit of his stomach.
