Max figures he'll just enjoy the music from back here, hoping to be left alone, but even after her friends have disappeared, Furiosa remains nearby. He wonders briefly if that's her given name, or some sort of nickname. Either way, it suits her, he thinks as he checks to see if his nose has stopped bleeding.
The "I broke your nose in a mosh pit" AU. (As first suggested in a post by tokiosunset on tumblr.)
Sort of a punk!verse AU? The War Rig crew likes hardcore music.

Fury Road retold with a healthy dose of Dune and Vampire Hunter D sensibilities. Only Fury Road characters.
I’m marking this as both gen and M/F because while this is not a ship focused story, vampire battles are inherently gonna hit a few kinks. I’m also upping the rating since last year because violence is only going to go up from here. More tags will be added as the story moves along.

Mad Max and Wonder Woman crossover fic: Furiosa and the other Citadel survivors are making do the best they can in their first hundred days in power. Things seem to be going well, so well that tales of their work in building a better Wasteland reach familiar figures from Furiosa's childhood, one she thought was dead, and one she thought was just a myth. Given how much Furiosa has struggled just to survive, she would have thought she would embrace having someone with super powers on her side, but questions like, "Who killed the World," are about to become much more complicated.

Furiosa = Browncoat , ship’s captain (smuggler), well-meaning ne’er-do-well
Max = recently retired Repopulator, newly married to his captain after absurdly long years of misunderstandings
Jacob = failed Repopulator, reluctant assassin, successful honeypot, redeemed conman, Rig hijacker and would-be murderer-by-negligence
Slit = to know him is to love to hate him. Obnoxious mercenary with a not-so-well hidden soft spot or two
Cheedo = sugar sweet blackthumb with a passion for pretty dresses and rolling in the hay
Toast = doctor, trans man, has perpetual stick up the ass, has finally succumbed to Cheedo’s persistent charms
Dag = Toast’s disconcertingly weird sister, probably a genius and definitely psychic or something

Furiosa has always been terrible at dying. She never planned on living to see the Citadel again, let alone finding herself the defacto ruler. Sure, the girls are helping where they can, but the Citadel just isn't ready for them. Even worse, with her injuries slowing her down, Furiosa's past finally catches up to her.
Cheedo knows she came back different, but that doesn't mean she knows who this new person is.
Maybe if Capable buries herself in her new work, she can bury her grief as well.
Meanwhile, Max resumes his wandering with old and new ghosts in tow.
Chapters 29 and 30 are for the Mad for 'Straya project.
