Here’s what my ADHD spat out—Sophie Moore’s rise from closeted lesbian to the Hold Up’s resident wrist pinner intrigued me for a bevy of reasons but mostly the way she decided to shed shame and enjoy herself exponentially. I had the desire churning to talk about what shame feels like when you haven’t rid yourself of expectation as watching her struggle with her sexuality due to fear of rejection is something WLW and queer people experience everyday and was also personally relatable for me. So we’re gonna take a walk down memory lane.
