Y/n was one of the few people left one the SMP that had no true allegiance. Others would say he was a floater, but he thought of himself as a river stone, embedded deep in the river bed, never moving no matter how strong the water rushed. He was grounded and not moving, no matter what someone threw his way. He enjoyed his life. Until his life got up ended by the creation of walls, and the country and conflict that came with it. Y/n had just planned to ignore it, it may have been too close for comfort, but it wasn’t so close that he couldn’t live with it. It wasn’t the new country that forced his hand, it was the knock on his door.

A man walked out of his cabin and stared into the sunrise. He could almost remember it like yesterday when a man whom he had once considered a friend had claimed it as his own. However, that was centuries ago.
Today was a new dawn, long gone were the nations of the SMP, now all that remained was a colossal wreck of torn-up buildings and decaying roads.
The memory of the war for independence and futile fight of discs has long since faded into obscurity.

A thousand years after the SMP faded into memory, Techno stood, alone, in his cabin. He could only dream of the days in the past, and how he would correct his mistakes.

He’ll never forget how George slept through the elections, of all things. It wasn’t even that long ago in the grand scheme of time—Fundy should be out doing cabinet duties for Schlatt, and do his spy duties (which admittedly he’s not sure about even doing) but instead—
Instead, Fundy’s here, ringing the bell on the counter to call the waitress up. He’s here, sitting at a table and checking his watch to see if he got the time right. He’s here, and while he waits Fundy is staring determinedly at the wall to kill the time. There’s a knot in the wall; Fundy’s close enough to notice it because George and Fundy asked for a table at the very corner of the restaurant. He’s feeling awfully like this is a bad idea, not least because both of them used to be fiancés of the same man.
Mostly just a bad idea because George is the king of the Dream SMP right now, and if Schlatt hears of Fundy speaking to him, then he’s a dead man.

It was sort of mesmerizing to watch, like one of those ‘oddly satisfying’ videos. As Quackity continued to watch, he found himself more focused on the colors, keeping track of when they moved or bled into each other.
