Calamity Ganon wiped out all the able-bodied Hylians, but maybe the monsters can be put to use- with a little training.Zelda has no interest in physical desires. Before, she'd seen it as a necessity to produce an heir. In post-Calamity Hyrule, she saw it as a necessity to repopulate.
She doesn't like it and never has, but she's a good ruler, and a good ruler is always willing to make sacrifices for their people's well-being. -

Over the past three months, I've been culminating a series of one shots in which Link is, for multiple reasons, part Lynel. I've found that since this series is gaining a more cohesive plot and linear timeline, it makes more sense for me to make it a fully fledged fanfic instead of a series of One Shots, or perhaps that isn't the best description since it will still be a collection of One Shots, in a way, just handled a bit differently going forward. Either way, I hope that you enjoy the Lynel Link Anthology.
A basic understanding of the evolutionary advancement of the races of Hyrule produced a set of conclusions.
Number one, All humanoid races in Hyrule are separate species. Number two, all humanoid races were technically evolutionarily close enough to each other to have viable offspring, for some unknown reason. And number three, hylians are weird as shit.

The Hylian Champion has returned. He has much to do, as does the Zora Domain. Their bout of isolationism has left them surrounded on all side by beasts that endanger them and anyone who would think to visit or trade with the proud people.
The Prince of the Domain takes up his role as General, and with the help and encouragement of his guardsman and new Hylian friend, the borders of the Domain slowly begin to expand once more.
The General is optimistic yet expects too much of himself. The Hylian is wild and abrasive. Both are dutiful, and find they unexpectedly have a lot in common, particularly in the category of violence and unmet expectations.
