Summary
Almost ominously, the tattooed woman opened the door, a stern look on her face, along with a lit cigarette dangling from the corner of her lips.
The woman stared intensely at Gus, her hand resting on the door frame. “Ten p.m.” She said sharply when he set the heavy bags down on the concrete.
“You ain’t here, I’m choppin’ your fucking dick off.”
au; Gus Howard dug himself into a deep hole with Marie O’neil, owing her a little over 10,000 bucks. As reassurance that he’d come back and pay his dues, he leaves the woman with his two daughters- Lexi and Cassie.
After all, what father would abandon his own flesh and blood?

Summary
“You hit a mailbox?” He prompts, and as soon as she straightens up he shuts the door, squeezing past her to come look around the back.
He smells like leather, and for the half second she’s flattened between him and the car, it might be one of her favorite scents.
“It wasn’t my fault,” she tries, but he just looks up with a little smile.
“Never heard that one before.”

Summary
Sometimes in life you find something so special, that it gives you hope in the deepest pits of your despair. Like a lost ship in a stormy sea, salty waves quickly overwhelming and drowning the deck - a beam of light that guides you to shore. It doesn’t heal your mind like some kind of miracle. Memory is a hell of a terror, and it loves holding onto moments that hurt you the most. Though this hope can bring you to a new level of who you can be, and remind you of who you are at your core.
After Fezco was cleared from Mouse's murder, he has to find a way to navigate life again. Lexi is no stranger to lend a supportive hand, and is determined to stand by him - just as she once promised. Rue and Jules are there to support her, but will everyone else feel the same?

Summary
Fezco is looking at her from the other side of the room, half hidden behind the crowd. Lexi blushes and looks away. How long has he been staring at her? Lexi takes the first bottle in front of her and pours herself a drink. She takes it to her lips and grimaces at the bitter taste. Gin. Fuck, this is disgusting, who even brought that? Lexi finishes her red cup before daring to look back where Fezco is. Except he’s not here anymore. And Lexi doesn’t know if she’s relieved or disappointed.
Or an attempt to a Normal People AU: Fez and Lexi discover themselves and each other :)

Summary
Dear Diary,
of all the things I’ve been called, I never would have thought that this particular sentence got me stuck, would absorb all my attention at once, and would circle around in my head for the whole evening, but I assume being called “fucking fearless” does that to you. Especially, when someone as handsome and beautiful as him gifts these words to you on a ridiculously comfortable couch on New Year’s Eve, while smoking a joint – it made me completely crazy, in the best way possible.

Diary Au - Some of the events of season 2 are told in Lexi Howard's diary entries with a strong focus on Fexi, her relationship with Cassie and Rue, and her self-doubts. Most of it is canon, but there will be some head canons and additional Fexi scenes in it!

Lexi Howard seems to have it all – a thriving career as a best-selling novelist, an adorable bungalow in the hills of Los Angeles, and a "good on paper" relationship with a ridiculously handsome, successful man who has big ambitions to be elected to U.S. Congress this year.
It’s not a problem at all when her old friend and one-time high school crush decides to launch a Congressional campaign and run against her longtime boyfriend. She’s definitely not still in love with Fezco – right?

“Not everyone can convince a man to put his penis in a cage.”
“First of all, you’ve exposed yourself by revealing you know what a penis cage is. Secondly, I don’t have to convince them, they want to.”
“Right, right,” he says, and she can once again hear the smile in his voice. Something about this feels so familiar to her, but she can’t put her finger on it. “What was your other job, again?”

Summary
“Wait, sorry. Let me get this straight. We haven’t talked in, maybe 6 years, like you wanted, and now you decided to call me just to ask for a favor? Correct?” Lexi spoke carefully, slowly, analyzing and scrutinizing every word that was said over the phone.
Another wary laugh came, and Fezco's face burnt red at the straight forwardness of it all, “When you say it like that I sound like a real dick, don’t I?”

Summary
Of course she remembers. His name has become inextricably linked with hers. Everything she publishes has to mention Two Days, Two Knights: My Weekend with Fezco O’Neill in the blurb. Every meeting: “We just adored the profile you wrote on him. We’d love for you to write something like that for our client.” “When a new movie of his comes out, I reread your article.” “Come on, between friends, what really happened that weekend?”
Lexi Howard, a staff writer at Vanity Fair, is chosen to write a profile on Fezco O'Neill, who's poised to break out of his teen soap rut by snagging the lead in an offshoot of Hollywood's biggest franchise. What follows is a whirlwind weekend, mythologized by a profile so epic that it inspires fanfiction of its own.
Ten years later, all-powerful forces (his management and her editor) want to reunite them for a follow-up article, an attempt at catching lightning in a bottle for a second time.

“You look like you give a lot- too much.” He mumbles, his eyes falling down her shoulder, “Too bad they ran you to the streets.”
She lets out a small laugh, “I didn’t know I was on the streets.”
Her eyes empty at him. There’s a warmness in her stare- swirls of desire, a lot of attention that he’d eat up.
“You got that stray look. It ain’t a judgement or nothin.” His voice slurs in heavy thought.
Fezco and Lexi exchange a look with each other. She’s trying to avoid looking at his arms, she wonders how it would feel to be held by them- he could feel her yearning-
A gape looking for a taste.

“I’ve wasted my whole high school experience,” she bemoans. “I haven’t had any fun and it was all for nothing.”
“Come on, that’s not true, Lex. You smoked weed with me and Fez that one time.”
Lexi scoffs. “I coughed like a fucking amateur, fell asleep on his couch and woke up to you drawing a beard on my face!”
Rue shrugs from her spot on the floor.
“Still.”
