Summary
A fellow model and friend of Adrien moves to Paris and joins the class. What nobody knows is that he is in possession of the mysterious and elusive wolf miraculous. He is set to determine whether or not the players in this miraculous battle are worthy of holding their miraculouses in the first place. (Like I said in the tags, canon applies to a point. That point being US Netflix as of August 1st, 2019. I get any information I don't know that I am not purposely deviating from, or otherwise proven wrong later, from the Miraculous Ladybug Wiki. But sometimes it appears lacking. Or I'm an idiot and don't understand how it works. Both options are valid.)

Summary
Adrien’s relationship with his father has been strained throughout his life, wanting to keep his distance from him as he disapproves of his use of power. Adrien’s mother not being able to stand his attitude and behavior has also left home and shows up only to keep up appearances.
The only freedom this boy has been granted was four years of university to be himself, make friends on his own, to study law, and explore a world he’s never known. It was because of this chance that he met Marinette, a sweet, outgoing, and very talented girl, who was also chasing her own freedom and dreams to become a fashion designer. But the clock for Adrien is ticking by quickly, and new problems have come to light. Will he be able to hold onto his freedom and his happiness?
Based off of the Taiwanese drama In a Good Way, an AU taking place in the late 1990s. No Miraculous or magic exists.
A lot of the situations and some lines will be very similar or the same as In a Good Way. This drama reminded me so much of Miraculous Ladybug and looked like a possible outcome of the future and I wanted to put these two shows together and share such a beautiful story with those who don’t know it.

Marinette and her friends sign up to be maids, but the event still needs three volunteers so Marinette takes it upon herself to get the spots filled. She manages to get two filled rather easily and finds a surprising candidate for the third and final spot.

Despite his efforts to contact her, Adrien never saw or spoke to her again. Now, eight years later Marinette returns to Paris as a successful fashion designer at a time when the popularity and profitability of Adrien's family's fashion house are waning. How will it be when they inevitably meet? Can Marinette ever forgive Adrien for breaking her heart? Dare he hope that she still loves him as he loves her? Based on the Jane Austen novel "Persuasion", set in an AU of modern Paris, with a cast of familiar characters from Miraculous Ladybug without their superhero alter egos.
I love Jane Austen and "Persuasion" is my favorite novel. I love Miraculous Ladybug and writing fanfics for this fandom. This is dear to my heart and no matter how long it takes, I will finish this!
