Emperor Rex Lapis wanted to consolidate his empire as a prosperous one where peace reigned and for that he was willing to do anything to ensure that treaties with powerful nations remained in force, what he did not expect was to have to marry to maintain an alliance.
Aether for his part, despite hating the idea of being married to the emperor, tries to do everything possible to keep that relationship dead from the beginning as a friendly and cordial union, but things start to go from bad to worse when he falls in love with his husband's escort.

Aether started a chaotic group chat full of his friends when they graduated high school and found out they’d all be attending the same college. Naturally things went well for a while, but when he had to leave for a year to study online so he could visit his sister, the group dynamics shifted, and the chat essentially died with Aether no longer being the common tie between them all. When he comes back, he desperately wants to get his friends back to the way they once were, and of course, chaos ensues.
Yes, this is a chatfic, but there will be actual dialogue and proper story telling. Either way, Aether has harem.

Zhongli didn't ever envision having this immoral attraction towards Aether. At first, he tried to rationalize it. His wife's passing and the loneliness of coming home from a long day of work without companionship was the greatest excuse, so Zhongli decided to go on dates with different people to distract himself from his growing infatuation with his son.
This obviously didn't work, as every night Zhongli would come back to a drowsy Aether waiting on the couch in one of Zhongli's workshirts. His babyboy had gotten accustomed to wearing his clothes at home, and the sight of Aether's messily buttoned shirt tugging at Zhongli only worsened his obsession. Zhongli didn't remember the exact point he caved into his desires, just the endless spiral that didn't stop after that.
