Summary
Since 2007 I have thought about crossovers between the Marlows, Walkers, Marchwoods, Maitlands, and other families who were set in that period between the wars, and whose 'lives' may have continued after the second world war, by writers such as Dorita Fairlie Bruce, Elsie J. Oxenham, Arthur Ransome and Antonia Forest. The fanfiction work "Roger and the Marlows" by constantlearner showed that others had the same idea! I took that work as huge inspiration for this brief moment, and hope that the author accepts my gratitude and appreciation of that work, and this brief imagined moment within the life of Roger Walker and the Marlows.

About a year later from Spring Term but continuing the singing storyline. Then the story ran away with me. Enjoy

Content note: This story is set in the present, and I'm using the Autumn Term timeline for the Marlows, so while there is no Character Death, as such, some Characters are Dead.
