Summary
A runaway firebender living on the south pole sounds like the beginning of a very bad joke, doesn't it?
Well, for the past two years, it has been nothing but reality for Ilvane after she had fled home in the middle of the night and had somehow landed in the small village on the freezing ice. When she and her friends Sokka and Katara find a boy and a sky bison in an iceberg, her life and everything else changes.
Travelling to the north pole to teach Aang waterbending to help him save the world, Ilvane meets people from her past again and learns that no matter how hard or far you run, the past will always catch up and one day, you'll have to face it

Summary
An Avatar the Last Airbender modern AU set in 2020 (but without the quarantine because I'm living vicariously through my writing now)
Follow our characters as they navigate the ups and downs of modern life. There will, of course, be heartbreak, happiness, pain, angst and most importantly, gay pining!
No one in this AU is straight. Miss me with that.
Tags will be updated as we go, because I don't want spoilers to happen, but warnings will be issued before anything rough(buddy) happens.
Parts of this work were inspired by Being a bitch is my kink by MiddleofNowhere92, please go check that out it's a brilliant fic about himbo American football player Zuko and nerd Sokka and it gives me serotonin.
(Also I needed to pad the cast a bit with LoK characters we're just gonna pretend Iroh II isn't Zuko's grandson because canon is my bitch)

Summary
Agni has always been watching Zuko and has always lamented his fate. "He's lucky he was born," no. It was Agni who brought him into this world, he was born lucky because Agni was always with him. When his mother was taken from him, she cried with him. When he was afraid, she tried to keep the sun shining on him. When his own father sentenced him to death, she did everything to keep him alive.
With the help of Tui and La, they led him out to the ocean of the Northern Water Tribe, where Hakod found the injured Zuko.Or
Ozai sentenced 8-year-old Zuko to death. Hakoda found him in the boat and took care of him. Not alone, of course. Quite simply, Zuko raised in the Water Tribe XD Inspiration from "Another Brother". -

Summary
Gdy jego własny ojciec skazał go na śmierć, zrobiła wszystko by przeżył.
Z pomocą Tui i La wyprowadzili go na ocean Północnego Plemienia Wody, gdzie poharatanego Zuko znalazł Hakoda.Albo.
Ozai skazał 8 letniego Zuko na śmierć. Hakoda znalazł go w łódce i się nim zajął. Nie sam oczywiście. Po prostu, Zuko wychowany w Plemieniu Wody XD Mocna inspiracja "Another Brother".First chapter is translated into english! You will find it in my profile, story in english have the same title <3

Summary
After the heartbreak of the "Ember Island Players" episode, Katara finally figures out her feelings for Aang. Zuko gives romantic advice, shows his political genius, and starts to understand the meaning of friendship. TV-canon-compatible missing moments, extending beyond the finale.
Current chapter: The Gaang attends a ball at the Earth King's Palace. Sukka reunion!

Summary
“I’d hate being kept from the sun.” Zuko reaches over her shoulder so his pale hand glows. Moonlight bathes her in silver, cloaking her like a second skin of crushed diamonds. Men of the Fire Nation burn the air around them. Women shimmer like a hot summer day.
He’s never seen anyone sparkle.
“I… I shouldn’t have stolen the moon from you. Tui’s waiting.”
She breathes in. “It’s impossible to steal the moon. But you did steal me.”

My take on the series if Zutara were the series endgame. Feat. canon-divergences, aged-up characters, mature themes, pining and Two Idiots in Love.

Summary
Once when Katara was five-years-old, she asked for a story about the Air Nomads to help her fall asleep.
Hers was a culture of storytelling, of oral tradition that even the children found sacred to their people. It was the waters of their life, the legends and folktales that had to be told because there was no need to write them down when they had their songs and their words.
From the great dancing Southern Lights where the spirits played in the festivals each year, to the Mother of the Ocean who complimented the moon. There were the tales of the folk of the highlands, those who had given themselves into nature and lived as shapeshifting beings that could change from animal to animal. Everything had a spirit, a soul. The weather, the mountainside, the iceberg that bobbed erratically upon the rough waters in the edges of a storm.
-
Or, Katara and Aang meet as children, and together they learn to live.

Summary
AU where Ozai is even less tactful than in the show, and things go horribly wrong. The Fire Lord orders him to kill both of his children, instead of just his firstborn son.
Needless to say, this doesn’t fly well with Azula and Zuko.
A "Azula and Zuko Get Adopted By the Water Tribe" story but if it was a slow burn.

Summary
One moment he was holding on for dear life, the next he was falling. It almost felt like slow motion, watching the ship shrink before him. He could hear warning bells faintly through the storm and a frantic scream of “Man overboard!” but it was gone in an instant, swallowed up by frozen water.
It didn’t even feel like he was in the water. It felt like he had fallen into sheets of glass. Every crash of water against him felt like it cut through his skin. His entire body went stiff from the cold--it felt like his very lifeforce had been frozen to the core.
AKA Zuko decides that he wants nothing to do with hunting the avatar or having any part in the war. Of course, fate doesn't listen.

Summary
While staying in the South Pole years after the end of the war, Zuko, Katara, and Sokka all wake up with amnesia.
Yes, Zuko, you’re the Fire Lord. No, Sokka, not all firebenders are evil. Also, did I mention that you two are brother-in-laws?
...No?
It gets a little uncontrollable.

Summary
Sokka and Zuko seem to keep “accidentally” flirting with each other with romantic gestures from their respective cultures. It takes a while for everyone else (and them!!) to catch on. Set a few months after the end of the war, featuring chronic pain and cultural flirting.

Summary
In his mind's eye he draws.
He draws light blue eyes that holds the ocean in its depths, waiting to surround him with their compassion, love.
Rich brown skin that is as deep as it is inviting, warm.
A round nose that twitches when she lets out her melodious laugh, a sound akin to the song of windchimes.
A bright smile framed by full lovely lips the color of blush on her skin, enticing and oh so lovely.
Dark inky hair falling in waves, waiting to spill over the contours of her shoulders.
Hands scarred by years of hard work, but always ready to delve out a soft touch to those she loves. He draws these hands cradling her rounded stomach, holding the product of their love and their future. Their child.
Finally it is done and all he can think of is home. A place of love. So much love.
A home he can't return too. Not when he's locked up here, strung in the middle of the windowless room, muzzled. Not when he is drowsy with sleeping droughts and shirshu venom. Not when we can't even hold his head up without it dolling to the side in pain.
Not when they are safer that way. Safer for his Katara and their little bundle of joy.
It's for the best.
