I mean, you know. They bone. [insert B99 gif]
Hopefully a cute, fluffy, smutty bit of fun. Medium burn? They shag in chapter 3 and pretty regularly after that, I know that’s what you really want to know.

Summary
Retelling our first season (series) of Gentleman Jack (BBC/HBO) in poetry, mostly free verse written in the two-three months after the series began. I try to keep the drama and humor while also expanding on the points of view so that secondary characters get to react to the Ann(e)s.
I intend to post three days a week--MWF--which should keep us all going until just before Season (Series) Two (finally) starts. (Also, I'm American, so if I slip up, let me know, and if my 'take' on these characters doesn't align with yours, I'm sorry. I am putting this out there as what my watching of the show several times and reading of at least six of the books leads me to thnk.)
I welcome polite commentary, even--and perhaps especially--if you disagree on my readings/viewings of characters. Key word: polite.
In the end we must ask ourselves, "In this situation, given who I am and the world as it is, What Would Anne Lister Do?" (WWALD)

Summary
A letter and a beautifully decorated chest had been sent to Ann Walker from Mariana Lawton, one of Anne Listers closest friends and an ex-lover. She had visited Shibden over a month ago and Ann recalled how uncomfortable and upset she had been with that woman in the house. She had been civil to their visitor as courtesy demanded but was more than happy to wave her carriage off and close the door.
It seemed strange then that Mariana had sent her and not Anne the items.

Summary
Elizabeth paced back and forth in front of the guest bedroom, worry etched into her features as the horror that took place some hours ago now, replayed in her mind for the hundredth time. Opening the door. Red. Ann. Red. Shock. Red. Blood. A lot of it. Dripping. On Ann’s dress, her hands, arms, chin. She winced at the memory of the way Ann’s eyes had rolled back into the back of her head and she’d collapsed.
