Summary
RK900’s internal system told him that he’s been in the snow for a little over two week, the weather have been tragic for the past couple of days, and no one has spotted him, it shouldn’t be unexpected, he was dumped somewhere outside of Detroit, or on the skirt of, he can’t tell. Using more processing power means that he dies faster, and he doesn’t want that, so he saved every watt of energy he can.
With a quiet thump, he fell back into the snow, charge close to 10%, he doesn’t know if he’ll make it till morning, his internal temperature is declining dangerously, and without heat or charge his system can’t keep itself functioning, not to forget the thirium he has lost, but long evaporated days ago. A timer was slowly ticking down, mocking the little time he had left to live.

Summary
Fowler gives Gavin an ultimatum: sort his shit out or he's out of DPD Central.
Gavin's pretty much accepted that he'll have to leave, but then Lieutenant Anderson takes an unexpected leave of absence and suddenly Gavin's the most qualified cop in the station. Fowler partners Gavin with Connor, the cocky little android detective who's been clinging to Anderson's coattails for the last three months. Connor's a good detective, as much as Gavin wants to beat the shit out of him half the time, but Connor's also young and headstrong and naïve about the grubby Detroit underworld that Gavin's been elbow-deep in ever since he joined the force.
It's no secret that Gavin has feelings for Connor, but Connor's not ready to forgive his and Gavin's violent past. Gavin knows he needs to show Connor that he's changed, but even when he's trying his best it seems like everyone is conspiring against him -- Hank doesn't want him anywhere near Connor, Fowler still seems to want Gavin fired, and behind the scenes, the mysterious Elijah Kamski wants a piece of all the action.

Summary
In the wake of the Revolution, humans and androids alike are left to grapple with their respective roles as autonomous, feeling, equal beings. On a macro level, the infrastructure to support a free android race does not yet exist. Androids must continue fighting for agency and recognition: particularly over the production and distribution of Thirium 310, a substance as vital to them as blood is to their human counterparts. Humans, meanwhile, are forced to reckon with the implications of coexisting alongside a race created to outlive, outpace, and outdo them in all regards.
And the ramifications of these conflicts of interest impact all relationships between humans and androids -- even the most trusting and the most tender. Even the one that is slowly, reluctantly, desperately simmering between Hank Anderson and Connor.
But maybe there's a way to level the playing field. With new, confidential research underway, a means of eliminating mortality altogether may be within reach, rendering humans and androids truly unified -- and rendering death a preventable tragedy.
(Fic is completed and will be posted in chapters over the coming weeks.)
