Summary
In the aftermath of the Vampire Outbreak in Halloween 2019, Salim and Zain struggled for survival in a dying world ravaged by bloodthirsty vampires, where resources were running scarce each day. Until one day, Salim ran into Jason, a cocky raider who put survival above all else—even morality, and his loyal friend Nick, whose altruism didn't seem to fit in with the current world. Both carried dark secrets and, not unlike him, hidden pain that might kill them one day.

When he discovers that they plan to use Salim as their next subject however, he decides to go rogue, and turns against the US military before they can use his disease as a key to immortality.
