Thel Gothel, Maddie Hightopp, Rumi Stiltskin, and Hadley, Daughter of Hades have been given a chance to come to Auradon to prove themselves. But just who are they proving themselves too? Will these four make it in the land that is Auradon, or will their parents' overbearing plan prove all too familiar for the people of Auradon. Follow these four as they team up with Mal, Jay, Carlos, and Evie, along with four new friends Ryder Fitzherbert, Adelin Ali, Taelyn Bell, and Paxton Pan. Loosely based on an idea from Mistaken For A Miracle by RottenKidNextDoor on AO3 and based on a roleplay that me and my girlfriend are doing. This is co-written by me and her and has mixed writing styles between us.

The newly United Kingdoms of Auradon didn't think about the consequences of what throwing all of their villains, and old world history they wished to forget, under a magical barrier and lifting the land 500 yards into the air would bring.
Well I'll tell you what, it doesn't encourage reform, nor instill happy go lucky feelings.
The Villains weren't about to give up the lives they dreamed of, they still were sleazy, lazy sorts of people. If they wanted an easier life and someone to blame and listen to their woes, they were going to need new loyal followers, AKA children.
Those who didn't particularly kill to have more mouths to feed, still found themselves creating and fighting to have brats of their own, if only to survive. After all Maleficent's iron grip on the Isle left little other options for them, not when everyone knows if you cross the less than sane dragon you get killed.
How do their descendants overcome all the challenges created by the ignorance of Auradon, and how will they fall on the cosmic scales.

Mal, daughter of Maleficent
Jay, son of Jafar
Evie, daughter of the Evil Queen
and Carlos, son of Cruella de VIl.
Follow these four unlikely friends as they find out more about themselves, the world around them, and each other.
AKA the author has a problem with stopping themself from rewriting everything related to Descendants and they decided to take a crack at the Isle of the Lost series.

From character references to made-up lyrics that fit various characters to one-shots that didn't quite make it into the actual storyline, this is just a collection of things that aren't needed to read either What is Family or Taking Back the Crown, but they are extra things that can help understand the story and characters better.

Jazz was once a part of the infamous J3. She was once the Princess of Thieves. Now she's a genie in hiding trying to survive on the Isle until she was forced to become a genie in training living in Auradon crushing on her family's enemies' son. Happily Ever Afters rarely happen for a Villian Kid. Its okay though; Jazz learned from a young age that Evil Girls Don't Cry.

“red is the color of blood, and that makes it the second most coveted color on the isle. there is nothing like looking like your clothes are dripping in blood to get people to run. but jade knows too many people who stalk through the isle streets in the color of dried blood.”
or; on an isle of red, jade is viridescent.
