Summary
Dream is the well-known bad guy of the server, but no one knows anything else about him. No one knows his connection with being an admin. But that is understandable, since the godforsaken mask hides the truth from spilling. The mask that has laid upon Dream's face for eternities. Once it was removed, the Dream SMP learnabout the dreamon that still lurks within the overwhelmed man. The creature must be stopped before it takes their past friend to extreme lengths. However, Dream wants to give up this battle, he has no energy to keep fighting. Could they stop it before Dream willingly submits?
OR:
A tired man hoping to finally be at peace, who is stopped by his 'enemies' that finally learn the truth behind his actions.:)

Dream is a terrifying man to go against in a fight.
All the hunters know what he's capable of, how intelligent and fast-thinking he is, how he can manipulate and lie his way out of a lethal situation. And that's what Dream likes -he likes outsmarting everyone.
He likes the explosion of dust that comes when he kills one of the hunters, he likes the slaughter after the chase. That's normal, that's natural to feel good about your achievements.
But when George, one of the hunters, one of the people supposed to be killing him thinks about that he feels...excited. He shouldn't, he knows that.
Doesn't change that his heart still races when he sees Dream do something so, so risky but so clever at the same time.
It doesn't make George hate Dream any more, either.

Dream lets the dreamon take control while he is in the cell with Tommy. Prsion was already breaking the god, so why not? Only, once he wakes up he is lead to an execution by the people he once thought would be his family.

Summary
Dream sat across the room watching his clock. It was almost sunrise, all he could think about was the community house.
He would sit there with George and Sapnap, watching the sky change colours. A deep blue to a beautiful light blue. It felt bittersweet to imagine now.
He remembered Sapnap's visit. He deserved to be here, in the prison.
A tight grasp on his lungs, the blurry vision, the constant whispering that had been there for ages.
He watched the clock now, feeling his control slip again as he stood. He strode across the room, taking the clock in hand. His vision got blurry and static filled his head.
He felt himself walking towards the lava and could practically hear Sam threaten not to give him another clock.
By the time the lava met the tips of his fingers, holding the clock tighter, he couldn't see anymore. His vision was replaced with black static as it took more and more of his consciousness.
He welcomed it now, though. As his figure slowly but surely was completely consumed in lava. The lava felt so close to a hug, almost a relief.
He felt himself relaxe as the lava burned flesh from bone. He finally felt free as his consciousness slipped again.

His hands shake—fear, anger, regret, guilt; they all come crashing down on those shoulders of his that were far too small to hold the world. He crumples to the ground, pathetic and weak. No one's around to see it.

Dream is not Atlas. He fell from the storm of his conscience far before he held the sky on his shoulders.
"Sorry," he tries to say to nobody and everybody, the words tasting like blood on his lips. It comes out as a pained wheeze.
Ah, well. He thinks he has time to practice.
