She looks like the sun, he can't help but think.
"Humans date, right Dean?"
A story where Dean is completely whipped and takes Cas on a date as apart of the human experience.

A few years after Overwatch's recall, the organisation is back on its feet. Amélie Lacroix, formerly known as Widowmaker, has been rescued by its agents and her brainwashing removed. However, something did not return - she is completely removed from any emotional experience. Amélie needs to figure out how to learn to live like this and after talking to her friend Angela Ziegler about it, the doctor thinks she may know someone who could help her finding peace with it.
Inspired by shower thoughts and a very long conversation with Mel about Genji's psyche and how awfully similar parallels exist between him and Widowmaker.
They drew this amazing art of the two 'living weapons' after our conversation and I am really happy to have inspired them. As a result, I wrote this story. Dedicated to Mel, of course. <3
I hope you enjoy. :)

Something is not quite right with Aziraphale’s earthly vessel, as he is stranded in the midst of the gunpowder plot. Only Crowley can help… or will it all go down like a lead balloon?
Part detective story, part costume drama, part religious contemplations. Overall a tragicomedy about human experience, love and sex.
Beginning has rather graphic period-typical violence, but it will get better.
PS: not exactly a cross-over, rather just our boys placed in a historical setting. So, do not worry, if you haven't seen the Gunpowder show.
PPS: We are kind of new here, so drop by and say hi, happy to hear your thoughts <3
- Part 1 of Good Intentions Universe
He tells Kakashi that trying to change the future is pointless. Can’t tell him that unless he kills him or rips out the cursed tag again, it’s doomed go the same way again. But the longer he stays here, this time actively fighting the tag, the more he slowly puts together that maybe… maybe he can do *something* else this time. Maybe those few moments of clarity were enough- so long as he stays clear on what he *really* wants.
(Sometimes he believes he only imagined that one breath of air out of hell, that it was just a dream. His fingers will itch to grab the ball of sunshine so foolishly trusted in his presence and extract the bijuu.
Some days the anger is so encompassing he forgets who he is- he can’t even tell what he’s angry about.
But then he’ll see Naruto’s happy smile directed at him, Sasuke’s outrage on his behalf, Kakashi’s understanding gaze, and he’ll throw himself at the jagged crakes warring inside of him once more, hold onto the edges of his mind. Cling on to the knowledge that the identity he constructed for *himself* wants real peace with all it’s trials and pain, not destruction and death masquerading as peace.
He won’t be turned into a catalyst for the end this time.)

The van is running, Steve realizes, and Eddie wouldn’t start it if he was just coming out to smoke. It sobers him up almost immediately. “You leaving?”
Eddie gives him a smile, sad around the edges where it reaches his eyes, says, “Yeah,” and Steve knows he doesn’t just mean for tonight.

this type of pain - the almost - is so hard to depict. it's really hard to tackle the feeling of loss over something that was never yours, the feeling of mourning over something that was never alive. this fic made me ache with something not so different from what i feel when i read up on queer history – the letters steve writes are not so different from the love letters centuries old that will come up as something exchanged between secret lovers. it's a type of pain that rips you apart with the maddening thought of what if, and that's the worst pain you can ever feel. it's almost ancient. this work is beautiful and painful but beautiful in the way that humanity is, in the way that this experience isn't the first and they're not alone in their fear of tomorrow – that they're not alone in their fear of not having a tomorrow together. i can see steve looking into eddie's endlessly brown eyes and saying "next time you run, i hope you run to me, into me, into my arms and dislodge yourself into my lungs. i hope you never leave"
