Summary
The Warrior of Light takes a few moments to think about her adventures and perhaps talk to a few of her allies about them. This is mostly going to be a Lot of talking and character interactions with only small snippets of action, and it's also typically going to be the WoL and one friend chatting, but that format may change as the work progresses.

Summary
"Equal under Her ever watchful gaze."
So speaks the Enchiridion, but Ishgard is still a city steeped in stifling tradition. Every child is a gift from Halone, though some are more welcome than others.

Summary
It’s the sheer gaudiness of the flier that catches Aymeric’s attention, at first.
DRAGONSONG, it reads, the title of the band nigh incomprehensible with the lack of kerning, each syllable tangled tight together in such a way that the entire thing seems to resemble a snarl of tree roots.
The dragon is what really piques his interest. Below the labyrinthine lettering, a great wyrm spreads its wings, poised to spew fire on the dragoon below it. It’s not the most artful rendition of a drake Aymeric has ever laid eyes on, bearing an odd resemblance to a muscular skink moreso than a noble creature of myth, but it’s… passable.

Summary
So a bit of artwork on Twitter and a comment thread later and I just HAD to write a modern AU for our favorite Heavensward characters. I don't care if I get hate for this, it was fun as hell to write and I'm still grinning.
The fighting in Ishgard has gone on long enough, and Aymeric de Borel and his team of elite bodyguards are prepared to take over the city and fix it. Using money, muscle, hustle, and all sorts of underground connections they slowly liberate the city from the crushing grasp of the Holy See, the mafia group that has held the populace in its grip for as long as anyone can remember. Now the Dravanian Horde, which has been content to cause trouble elsewhere in Coerthas, is planning to make their mark on the city, and Aymeric isn't having any of that, either...

Summary
After settling matters in Norvrandt, the infamous Warrior of Light known as Henry Gordon finds himself shuffled to a simple posting of guard duty for the Brume. As a First Lieutenant of the Immortal Flames, he braces for what he believes will be a simple-but-chilly matter of paper-filing and pencil-pushing. However, when Hilda Ware approaches him with a request for aid, it is quickly revealed that 'simple' is to be subtracted from his duties.
A first person account of the often mythologized exploits of the Warrior of Light, "Unto the Brume, from the Memoirs of Henry Gordon" is the telling of a reluctant Henry Gordon as he undertakes adventures that earn him the title he often regrets earning, with notations from his companions to elaborate on things the New Jersey-native often forgets to include himself.
This does not follow any canonical quests, but does include references to events that are canonical and as such may have spoilers up to and beyond 5.3!
