Yukina blinks. She has to turn to locate the source of the voice. Her eyes fall on Rinko, situated at the back of the room. Ah—she blinks again. She hadn’t been expecting that. Rinko, ever taciturn and retiring, rarely speaks up, or speaks unless addressed directly. It is not that Yukina had forgotten that she was there, because she would not—because Yukina’s ears strain for the delicate sound of Rinko’s keyboard, woven between Sayo’s precise guitar playing, Ako’s energetic drumming, and Lisa’s earnest bassline; Yukina writes each and every part of her compositions with the same care, but the part that she looks forward to hearing in practice and in performance both is the melody that accompanies her own.

For Yukina, her music has always been the priority, personal feelings have never been her focus,she preferred to bury them deep in her mind and continue in ignorance until that passion was gone.
