Summary
After the war, everything is not well. Umbridge still holds a lot of power and is the driving force behind a marriage law. Hermione wouldn't be Hermione if she didn't do everything in her power to fight this intrusion into human rights. But after a few nasty twists, she is forced to give in - and finds a match in the unlikeliest of men. When the law receives an oppressive addendum, the two newlyweds have to flee together and are forced to get to know each other more deeply than either of them expected.

Summary
The magic was gone. But not for everyone. The Muggle-born and half-blood still hold part of their magical gifts, and now, the entire wizarding community depends on those who were once subdued. Those who still possess their wands gather daily at Hogwarts to train their skills, seek answers, and perhaps a solution that can bring magic back, after all, they are the last hope of the Wizarding World. And when Minerva McGonagall announces the return of a certain hero who disappeared after the end of the war as the team's new advisor, Hermione looks forward to being apprenticed to the bravest man she has ever known. But the Severus Snape who returns to the school looks nothing like the professor she once fell in love with.

Confused at Lily’s unwillingness to forgive him, Severus finds himself in the Room of Requirement and meets someone there he’s never seen in Hogwarts before. Little does he know that encounter changes everything. There is time alteration in this fic, not a time turner or travel specifically.

Summary
Snape's first question to Harry about wormwood and asphodel was not just a potions question, but also a message, which in the language of flowers meant "I bitterly regret Lily's death".
Harry never gets the message behind the question, but what if Hermione does, years later?
Not canon-compliant, but canon-inspired.
