He didn’t usually initiate phone calls with people and had never had a call with Hanazawa in particular, so his hands felt sweaty as he scrolled through his phone for the right contact. Pacing up and down the corridor, Mob brought the phone to his ear as it connected.
The call rang once and then went to voicemail.
“Hi, you’ve reached Hanazawa Teruki: perfectly ordinary middle school student. If you’re hearing this, I’m probably out doing boring stuff like fighting evil and saving the city, but I’ll call you back when I can.”
Hanazawa always had his phone on him, and he always, always responded to phone calls, despite the “boring stuff” his voicemail claimed to occupy him. The only time Hanazawa turned off his ringer was during tests and today was their day off from school.
Mob had a bad feeling.

On Halloween Day, Reigen Arataka disappeared. When he is finally found, other than being dirty from staying in the woods and having lost some of his memories, after he came back to his old life he recovered well, with some changes as well: better grades, an optimistic personality and better treatment of his parents.
On one hand, while his parents are happy about his changes, they slowly start to develop doubts that this new stranger from the woods is their son, and it’s not helping that Reigen disappears at odd hours of the night and other strange actions, that they enlist the help of an exorcist from The spirits and such such office, believing that it’s a spirit possessing their son and wants him to return to normal and go back home with them.What they don’t know is that Reigen Arataka, the changeling wants to go back home too.
