Aeris dodged the market traders preparing their shops in the twilight and made a left out of the market. She headed rim-wards towards the distant strip of brightening sky along the winding road as it cut through the junk heaps and trash piles. She could follow it - carry on toward the oldest, outlying part of the Sector or turn off and head hub-ward again to the church.No time to be distracted; while Sector Five was among the least dangerous areas of the city, monsters could still be found here. Later, heavier foot-traffic meant most of the city's hostile fauna tended to retreat to the remaining pools of deep shadow. And the worst of the slums monsters lurked in among the abandoned construction equipment in Sector Six until the crowds thinned and the slums entered the night once more.
Her double told Aeris to find the files she left in Wall Market. Curiosity is a hell of a thing and without Mom admitting anything, Aeris doesn't have many other options. Of course, getting to Wall Market is an ordeal in itself; unlike Sector Five, Sector Six is notorious for lurking monsters.

Shinra makes Sephiroth go on vacation, so he decides to go to the most isolated mountain range on the planet, where nothing and no one can bother him. And then he takes the wrong path, is caught in a massive blizzard, and is pulled out of the snow by a man with wings.

After a bit of coercion and emotional blackmail from Rufus and Veld, Vincent decides to rejoin the Turks as Head of the Department. Things go rather well until Vincent starts getting hot flashes and, almost at the same time, Sephiroth approaches him with a desire to be friends.
