Nora is like most teenagers, at 16 years old she goes to school, has a group of close friends, loves music, works a part time job, and aspires to go to college to pursue her lifelong dreams. Living in Gardenville, Jersey she's grown up living the life of an average kid, surrounded by farmland, beaches, pristine parks, and a diner at every corner.
Yet she is unlike anyone else. As the daughter of Steven Universe and Connie Maheswaran, the reputation of her father weighs heavily on her shoulders, a reputation she wants to break free of. From her Gem side she inherited Pink Diamond's powers despite lacking a gemstone and her human side's autism makes it harder to understand people. Both aspects are part of who she is, but her Diamond powers are forbidden by her parents. After an argument about using said powers, Nora flees to the mountains and witnesses an event that puts her life in danger, forcing her family to send her to Beach City to be under the protection of her Gem Aunts.
Set 30 years after the end of the series, Steven Universe: The Diamond Legacy follows Nora and a new generation of Crystal Gems as they confront the consequences of the past becoming part of a bigger family .

Fueled with self-hatred, regret, and guilt, Spinel leaves Homeworld for Earth. She doesn’t know what she wants, or what she’s looking for, but she believes Homeworld can’t provide it. However, with it being only a few weeks after Steven’s meltdown, she’s certain trying to settle in on Earth won't be as easy as it once was. Especially for her, considering her history with Earth. Regardless of whether Spinel is welcomed on Earth or not, her problems will follow her. And she may soon find that, wherever she goes, whatever she decides to do, she has new problems waiting for her. New trials and tribulations she must overcome, from new and old friends. Even without their own challenges, the haunting might have more to it than it seems.

The matriarchs of the Diamond Authority were each glorious and venerable. Not a single one was anything less than flawless and perfect, especially in the eyes of those who served them. White, Yellow, and Blue each exuded power and commanded respect. They each were deserving of praise and admiration, yet in the eyes of one gem there was one Diamond that stood out from the rest. Out of the four exalted Radiances, there was only one that went out of her way to appreciate and spend time with those under her. There was only one that wanted what was best for those under her… There was only one that could be called… the Symbol of Hope.
