The boy had shaggy golden hair, piercing blue eyes, and wore a light blue tunic with grey trousers, which were, Piett noticed ruefully, decidedly not standard Imperial uniform.
The boy's name, he found out, was Luke Skywalker. Just who was this boy? And how did he get aboard the Executor?

Thanks for the suggestion Mondstaub1, your comment really got me thinking about the utter chaos that is Vader's communication skills with literally anyone.
Vader sees the messages and prepares to hunt another Enemy of his Home. Max wishes everyone would leave him out of their shit and Zev is enjoying seeing his fearless father dealing with Lord Vader’s mood swings. (Zev you can’t call them that, I don’t care if you have Lars level immunity!) Piett and Luke are annoyed that their ethnicity is being used for some publicity campaign but if it means they can mess with this core world, gossip column reporter then it’s worth the time.

But now he was the glue that held the Empire and the Alliance together and he had to be present for everything, lest his sister and father destroy the galaxy. He didn't ask for a planet with an ocean for a surface to be the next mission location, and he certainly didn't ask to fall into the water. Leia and Vader find his sink or swim test to be too close to sink for their comfort. Well, Piett took a laser shot for Luke, he would have to accept if Piett needed his help in the water...
