Summary
Atlantia has finally been annexed, an event that is celebrated with a royal wedding. Not that Dara feels anything for his new husband of course. Álvaro is cold, powerful and worse: completely immune to Dara's telepathy because of the faraday crown resting on his head.
With the marriage he has finally gained some amount of freedom from Lehrer but being handed over as a live hostage is not much better than his previous life. Somehow he's going to have to deal with being Lehrer's pawn, playing Álvaro's captive and his developing feelings for the very man he's supposed to undermine.
A man that might be in a lot more shit than Dara had assumed at first.

Summary
Dara and Noam meeting and falling in love without magic or the threat of war but still with enough problems to, hopefully, make it interesting.
This mostly deals with Dara and Dara’s depression and recovery. It’s depressing but I promise it has a happy ending.

Summary
“You’re too good for me.” Noam’s voice shakes, and his hands clench into fists over Dara’s pectoral. He’s sure they both look ridiculous, naked with their dicks softening between their legs and looking at each other like they’d still be able to hear one another’s thoughts even if they were a million miles away from each other. They wouldn’t need to—they understand each other perfectly.
“No,” Dara whispers, bringing Noam’s hands up to his mouth to kiss. “I was born to love you.”

Summary
Dara’s already in position. His door’s shut, and his shorts, shirt and underwear are splayed half-hazardously across the chair, the bookshelf. Dara didn’t bother to check where they would land before he'd tugged them off around his ankles and threw them. He’s entirely naked.
He senses the wards go down momentarily, hears the doorknob start to jiggle.
And so begins yet another attempt of getting Calix Lehrer to snap.

Summary
No one was prepared. No one seemed to remember that the magic virus was a living thing - an infection - not just an ability. Noam supposed even dangerous things became mundane eventually.

Summary
Dara studied her carefully. “Are you like me?”
She smiled. “I think so. Though, I couldn't slam people in the ground at your age. Not with magic at least.”
“You don't even know my age.”
“Dara Shirazi. 15 years old. Born 25 october 2001. Adopted son of Calix Lehrer.”
Dara looked at her, then at the woman next to her, trying to hide his fear but he didn't think he managed well. “Who’re you?”
“I’m Claire.”
“I’m Priya,” the other girl said.

Summary
Lehrer’s adoptive son making a mess of himself at eighteen years of age, being incompetent and incongruous in comparison to his father, the fucking defense minister, all because he couldn’t hold his bladder for more than five hours? Dara would rather die from Lehrer’s virus.

Summary
It was a bad thought to have but Noam was glad Dara lost his magic.
Not his magic, just telepathy. This way Noam could have his own terrible thoughts without them hurting anybody. Maybe he was being overdramatic, Dara had seen everything in his head, every terrible, cruel, violent thought that flit through his mind and plummeted in love with him on sight in spite of that, because of that to some extent, but that was before Lehrer.

He smiled. “You're shaking.”
That was an understatement, Dara was practically vibrating. “Put it on!”
Noam gently took his hand, steadying it and sliding it around his ring finger. Dara stared at his hand, flipping it over and back as if he couldn't believe it. “It’s perfect,” he breathed. Another kiss, harder this time. “You're perfect.”

Summary
Neither of them went back to sleep that night. They talked and talked and talked. They shared memories they forgot that they had forgotten, they shared feelings they forgot that they had felt, they shared secrets that weren’t meant to be kept, and they shared a burden that could never have been meant for just one person.
They shared a love that, despite the world’s best attempts, could not be leashed, could not be tamed, could not be stopped.

Adalwolf watched idly as Calix banged his head against the ceiling as he made his way into the attic.
“Fuck.” Calix threw the hatched closed and clutched his head.
“That’s what you get for being so tall.”

Summary
The soft glow of the street lamps creeped in through the window and tried its best to light up the room before the sun set completely. He couldn’t see the colors in the sky, but he knew they were there. An east facing window was good for morning light for plants, and watching sunrises, not sunsets.

Summary
Dara raised an eyebrow. “What about now?”
Noam raised his back. “Get on the bed.”
Dara let go of his hand and walked towards the bed and bent over it, arms stretched out, hands clenching the bed sheets. He grinned at Noam over his shoulder. “And after that?”
“Kneel.”
Dara’s vision whited out and the next thing he knew his face was pressed into the bed, knees aching from where they hit the wood when his legs gave out.
“Oh, baby,” he heard Noam say. “You need it that bad?”

Summary
Noam brought him his tea and leaned on the counter next to him.
“I want kids.” Noam said. Dara reached for his tea to sip as Noam spoke. “We have the money and space-and I’m as ready as I can be. I think that we’re both ready. I want kids.”
Dara put his tea aside. Noam knew he needed to give him time to think about it, but what Dara said was not what he was expecting.

Summary
“Hey,” Noam answered quietly. Dara looked him over with a face that was carefully kept neutral as Noam waited. Then all at once he couldn't hide his happiness anymore and jumped into Noam’s arms with a bright smile. Noam put his coffeecup away to cradle Dara’s face between his hands. “Dara.” He pressed a reverent kiss to his forehead and Dara desperately wanted to know what he was thinking. No, he knew what he was thinking, Noam was an open book. The tenderness he pressed into Dara’s skin with every movement said enough.

Summary
Noam isn’t an unobservant person, really, the problem comes with putting the pieces together. He can observe and observe and collect all sorts of information about a person, but coming to any conclusion based on those observations is, in fact, very hard for him.
That, and the guy looked normal. Well, normal enough. He was someone Noam had seen before, and hadn’t spoken to. His jacket was a bit too nice for the neighborhood, and wearing sunglasses this early in the morning could probably just mean a hangover. The dog looked like a-very cute- normal dog.
So when Noam bent down to pet the animal, how could he have expected things to go so terribly wrong?

Summary
Noam pushed the front door open with a rough gesture. “Dara?” But the lights were off and there was no sound of experimenting in the kitchen, the sharp clink of utensils along with gentle humming to whatever pop song was new that week. A sound Noam had begun to see as home. Wolf looked at him quizzically. “Hello boy,” Noam murmured as he petted his fur. He shrugged off his blazer, eyes searching through the house, turning around when he heard a soft creak from the stairs.
Dara cocked his head and smiled. “Did you miss me?”
