Summary
John Reese doesn't particularly believe in honesty. Lies of omission aren't lies, they're just omissions. Lies can be white. Assumptions don't always have to be corrected. Honesty is important, but it doesn't have to be absolute.
And, finally, knowing about someone isn't the same thing as knowing someone. All the things, important or not, that John never said, didn't correct, or twisted a bit, just because that's what he did.

Summary
In the midst of an IA rampage and a murder case that comes too close to home, Starsky and Hutch both must consider exactly how much loyalty they owe to the women they once loved.
This is a slightly revised version of the story that appeared in the S&H Slash Virtual Season 5. There are also three shorts that are connected to this story: Words Made Flesh, Cup of Decaf, and Dreamland. These links are to the Starsky and Hutch Archive posts of the stories, last updated 6/24/2014. I have not posted all of the short pieces to AO3.

Summary
Hutch dreads opening his eyes when the car stops, not sure he wants to see the place he was kidnapped from, the place he thought he was safe, his own home with his garden and—
But they’re at Starsky’s house, closer to the center of town, industrial, different. Very Starsky. Very safe.
He makes a fist and then releases it, his thigh bouncing. He’s hungry, but doesn’t want to eat anything. He doesn’t remember the last bite of food he managed to keep down, and feels like a stiff breeze could knock him over. Maybe Starksy will let him sleep in the car. Maybe he should go for a run.
It comes as a surprise when the door opens on its own and Starsky’s face swims before his eyes. His eyes remind him of Jeanie’s eyes, and Hutch immediately feels guilty about that.

Summary
His eyes sparkled in amusement, his lips twitching at the sides as he tried to contain a smile. His eyebrows, as blond as his hair, knitted together as he saw my blood rush to my face, making me resemble a plump tomato ready to be plucked.
