In the beginning…
…before the six Singularities and the dawn of creation, came the Celestials. Arishem, the Prime Celestial, created the first sun and brought light into the universe. Life began, and thrived. All was in balance.
Until an unnatural species of predator emerged from deep space to feed on intelligent life - they were known as Deviants. The universe was plunged into chaos.
To restore the natural order, Arishem sent Eternals - immortal heroes from the planet Olympia - to eliminate the Deviants.
Eternals had unyielding faith in Arishem until one mission, led by the Prime Eternal, Ajak, changed everything…

Summary
In 1491, Zephyr, one of the eleven original eternals left them all behind. She is found after the strange resurgent of deviants, and reunites with Ikaris, Sersi and Sprite, only to find out about the tragic death of their once leader, Ajak. Zephyr, feels much like stranger amongst her old friends, alone and isolated in the mist of their sudden reunion. But of course she is not alone, Druig, who also left the eternals 30 years after her, is the one that never forgot her, the one that knew her better than everybody else.
"I never believed in ghosts, but I might as well do now." Druig eyed her up and down, impressed by what his eyes were witnessing. "If it isn't Zephyr, Wielder of the Stars. My, how much have I miss seeing your face."
"Druig," she answered back as she looked up into his eyes, not looking away, not wanting, afraid she might not see them again.
"You look as beautiful as the day you left me."

A woman is pushed back in time unintentionally.
Selene Delacroix is an intelligent woman, but her mother would always say that she wasn't (at least compared to her sister). Her sister earned the title of valedictorian for her year and numerous other awards for her academic achievements, however, she would always talk about how school is an inaccurate measure of someone's intelligence. Her mother would say she was just being humble, in actuality she was just reciting Selene's words.
After graduating high school, Selene moved into an apartment almost immediately. She had no interest in living with her mother and older sister anymore and she wanted to be completely free to do whatever she liked. College pushed aside, Selene began taking photos for countless news forums and blogs— even briefly working for the Daily Bugle.
Unfortunately for Selene, her new start wouldn't go just as planned. An alien attack led by the God of Mischief would interrupt her everyday routine and cause her to run into a time traveling philanthropist and patriot.
Her little knowledge of time and space aren't too favorable after she is transported to a year she most likely fell asleep learning about in history class.
