"Oh, well I thought well I kinda need a safe place to sleep, and what better than a heavily armored fortress. So, I came here. It's my base now. It's not like anyone will mess with it." Dream said excitedly.
"You know the key cards reset at midnight and you can't get the new key card without the old one." Sam said.

I drew Sam in prison and then had to build an au backwards to go with it.
Why is Sam in prison?
Because Dream needs him out of the way and not interfering.
Why would Sam interfere?
Because Dream is keeping kids in the prison.
Why is Dream keeping kids in the prison?
Because Ranboo managed to stand up for Tommy in the trial and share the punishment and now Dream needs a better place to put them both during exile.

Ponk’s shoe crunched against a stick, and that was the end. The deer’s head, which was previously obscured by a nearby tree, turned to look at Ponk-
That wasn’t a deer.
What the hell was that?!
Ponk screamed, stumbling backwards- right into a tree, just his luck. The folder fell from under his arm as Ponk pushed further into the tree attempting to get away from the thing.
The not-a-deer seemed to be just as scared as he was, scrambling to its legs and thrashing with a renewed strength in the bear trap. It was clearly trying to get away, as if Ponk was the threat and not the creature itself. -

Before he even opened his eyes he was aware of the pain rushing through his body. He hurt all over as if his body had been ripped apart and put back together again. There was a place where it was hurting more, if just barely. His chest had hurt a little bit worse than the rest but still noticeable in hurting more. His throat was dry as he attempted to swallow some of the liquid which built up in his mouth… it tasted almost salty as in his mouth.
His eyes slowly peeled open, he had to blink a few times before he managed to keep them open long enough to gather his surroundings.
He was laying on his back, the concrete cold against his bare skin. He was looking towards the sky, it was night.
